Felt at home and welcome for the weekend in Rockton. We were here for a baby shower, the flowers were in bloom and the view along the river is amazing. Highly recommend! Thank you for making this available!

The house was cozy, welcoming amd excellently appointed. All the little extra touches like mints in dishes and extras really made for a totally comfortable experience.
Comfy and cozy, very spacious and just the right touches everywhere for our stay - we could not think of anything else we could add to make it better - stone fireplace out back was a neat thing to do at night too! Close to Beloit and Rockford but Rockton is a quaint little town as well - we will definitely be back!
Lovely, clean and well looked after property. Check in was simple. If you’re staying with littles please be aware there are a lot of breakable knickknacks, but they just add to the term of the house. Would definitely rent again.
This property is great! We were in town for my stepson's wedding at The Pavillion at Orchard Ridge Farms (10 min drive) and it had all the amenities that we needed for our brief stay. It's right on the river with great views (wish the weather would have cooperated so we could have enjoyed the outdoors more) and Erin was a great & super responsive host. Would love to come back!
Met and exceeded expectations. The home was very comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated, and well appointed. It offered multiple gathering spaces both indoors and out. Great weekend!
The owner is very helpful, letting us know when someone was coming to mow the lawn and being available to us. I really like the detailed info she sent before we came. We loved relaxing by the river. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. The house is spacious, the pictures are accurate. The Japanese Garden in Rockton was a highlight.
Erin and Greg were great hosts . We had a minor issue which was taken care of immediately .
The house was spacious, well equipped and very clean.
Loved the area and the back deck , even the geese.
Thank you,

They've created an amazingly beautiful experience in Rockton on the Rock river, in a town with so much history. It was wonderful to see how you've made this space so welcoming! My family has some history in the area and it was a wonderful launching spot to explore and connect. This house is truly a gem, from the décor of all the rooms, the well designed kitchen, to the thoughtful touches of the coffee bar, the amenities and games and books, the fire pit view along the river and even parking that really works! We are truly blessed to have discovered your spot and look forward to returning again! Merry Christmas 2023!
Erin was an accommodating, gracious host. We had an early rehearsal at nearby venue and she made the house available to us before check in time. The house was very clean and is well appointed (kitchen and baths). The setting on the river is beautiful even though it was too cold and windy for us to enjoy. We had an 18 month old with us and the setting felt very safe. Both stairwells are blocked (gate and door) and there weren’t many things he could reach that would be unsafe for him or that he could break. The house has colorful finishes that we loved. Would definitely recommend!
Erin is kind and very thoughtful. She (and her helpers, I imagine) thought of every detail. The space is very thoughtfully appointed from the fun-themed bathrooms, to the fully stocked kitchen to the thorough arrival info website link you receive when you check in.
Upon approach, it doesn't look like much, which I think is part of the magic. But when you enter through the back, it is much bigger inside than it looks. The space is awesome--it looks better than the pictures. It is warm and inviting---and very conducive to a group gathering, a group of people who like to spend time together, and sometimes spend some time apart. There's one main large open concept room: living room and kitchen, and then there's a separate sitting room and dining room. This worked out great for our intergenerational family reunion. It's great because no one is very far away--the teens drawing in the sitting room, a group playing games in the dining room, the talkers in the living room---so it was easy to regather together when need be and flow in and out of the rooms. Beds were also super comfortable. My sister-in-law joked about extending our stay.
All my interactions with Erin were awesome. When my sister in law left her glasses, she let her drive back to fetch them... Highly recommended. I'm sure my family will consider this place again.
Perfect house for our girls getaway. Plenty of room for 7 of us. Home has a lot of character and was so clean. Host was awesome to work with, great communication and responded quickly to any questions. Overall it was an awesome experience. Will definitely stay here again! Thanks! 😊
