Composed of a main house and a separate casita, this luxe 5BR/4.5BA property offers a superb family-friendly getaway. Highlights include a courtyard with a firepit, alfresco dining, and incredible bay views. Located just off Goose Island State Park, The Reserve at St. Charles Bay is a beautifully landscaped gated community with high-end resort amenities. Amenities for your enjoyment include a 2.1-mile community boardwalk, a firepit, a fishing dock, a hammock park with an outdoor kitchen and gas grills, a bayfront pool, a bayfront pier, and kayaks (must remain at the pier).
The main living area has a large sectional, a TV, and a gas fireplace that adds a warm ambience. The second living area has a sectional and smart TV. Release your inner chef in the gourmet kitchen, fitted with quartz countertops and a full suite of stainless steel appliances - including a French-door fridge. Socialize around the large center island with seating for six. When dinner is served, the dining table seats eight.
This home sleeps 10 guests between three bedrooms in the main house and two bedrooms in the casita. The primary suite has a king bed, a desk, a flat-screen TV, and balcony access. The en-suite bathroom has a curbless walk-in shower. The second suite has a king bed, a crib, a flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a curbless walk-in shower. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a private balconet. The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination, while a half bath adds convenience. The first bedroom in the casita has a king bed, while the second bedroom has a queen bed. The casita bathroom has a tub/shower combination.
Perfect for cookouts, the covered patio has a gas grill and a five-person table. Share stories around the gas firepit in the front courtyard. Both areas are fenced for added privacy. Sip morning coffee on the covered balcony while enjoying a coastal breeze.
Located less than a mile from Goose Island State Park. Other nearby attractions include the centuries-old Big Tree and popular Rockport Beach - Texas’ first blue wave beach.
THINGS TO KNOW
The two-story house is accessed via one step at the entry. The casita is accessed via a flight of stairs.
A row of small windows is located in each bedroom in the casita. These do not have coverings and offer natural morning light.
Occupancy and parking are strictly enforced. Guests in violation will be removed. Boat trailers do not count as a vehicle and must be parked in the driveway of the unit. The vehicle that has been displaced by the trailer must be parked at overflow parking on the island or at the community park. Weddings, parties, and RVs are not permitted on-site.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
