Decent little place close to most everything
Stayed here with my family, place was decent but worth the price. Needs updating in so many ways, but is cheap and close to a lot of stuff.

Great place to stay for visiting family.
Came to rockford for visiting family. This house was perfect for that. Cozy back porch nice yard for my dog. Definitely will be back when we visit again. Tim is a wonderful host.

Great location
This home was perfectly situated as a rest point during busy family reunion activities. The back patio was a perfect place for morning coffee and breakfast. We had no time for the activity room but it would be great for adults and kids alike.

We all had a good time in Tim's house. The game room was a hit with the kids. Big back yard for them to run around in was a plus. It's an older house and was pretty clean and very spacious. The TV in the basement doesn't work at all but upstairs TV was fine. It was close to town and we had fun at all the museums and parks. All in all was a very good rental and we would go again.

This was our 5th time staying at this property, as always it was a great stay. Had a minor issue that Tim resolved in a timely manner. If you have various devices on your stay, I suggest that you bring power strip(s) and if you enjoy video entertainment, bring your streaming device.

Wedding Collection

Great Place
This is the second property of Tim’s that we stayed at. The kitchen is fully stocked and I was able to cook for my family all weekend without missing any item I wanted. I will definitely check for one of Tim’s properties each time I come to visit my kid and grandkids. Thanks Tim.

Overall, this was a good place and fit the bill for what we needed. Kitchen and dining room were great. The gameroom in basement was nice even though we didn't use it much. The twin bedroom was perfect for our two littles. As for negatives, there were many cobwebs and spiders, the towels were very old and well used, the one fan was very dirty and the air conditioner couldn't keep up with the heat outside, so we had a couple pretty warm nights and there was only one dirty fan to use.

Clean house in nice, walk-able neighborhood. We had five inches of snow during our stay and the host had the driveway/walk shoveled and salted twice. Nice. House furniture and amenities are basic but the kitchen, laundry and bathrooms are well stocked with needed items and the basement game room would be a big plus for families with young kids.

Great place!
We loved our stay! There was lots of space for our whole family. The house was very well stocked with all the necessities (towels, kitchen utensils, coffee supplies, and bathroom toiletries)! However, just to warn everyone with young kids, the floors are a bit squeaky in the hall. It's an older built house, so it's understandable, but our kids did find it hard to sleep until everyone went to bed because of the noise. We still enjoyed our stay, but wanted others to have a heads up. Thanks, Tim, for a great stay!

Nice Stay!
We were in town for my mom's 90th birthday. The house has 4 bedrooms which allowed us to have one of our sons family to stay with us. Since we live about 800 miles apart that was a real positive. We spent a lot of time visiting in the LR, which has very comfortable furniture. One real plus, was the game room. It was used a lot, particularly by our granchildren, but grandma &, their mom & dad also got involved. The cost of the rental was very reasonable.

VERY COMFORTABLE
We actually booked this trip for our 81 year old mother so that could spend time with her great grandchildren as well as all of our family that still lives in the area.... Could not be happier with the whole experience! Mom had so much fun shooting pool with all of us :) Most active she has been in a while. Also, the location is perfect for access to anywhere in or around Rockford. Seems like everything was only ten minutes away. We would highly recommend this home for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Thank you Tim for letting us stay in your vacation rental.

Excellent value and location
We visit Rockford to see family, and this house was a good place for our family to stay since we have 6 kids. There is plenty of room in the home. With some small improvements, this house could be very nice and a 5 star rental. As it is now, it feels like staying at grandma's, which is ok, but may not be preferred by some. Pros: location, nice street, 4 bedrooms, wood floors, downstairs game room Room for improvement: shower doesn't drain well, shower curtain needs replacing, updated seating in living room, new towels, replace older mattresses, front sidewalk repair, front landscaping clean up. Because of the great location, value, abundant space, and ease of check-in/check-out, we would stay here again. Thank you!

Christmas Holiday
My husband and adult children met here for our family Christmas. The pros are; well stocked kitchen (we cooked all are meals here) and the beds were comfortable for everyone. Ample space with the lower level game room which we enjoyed. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. The cons are; the home is very outdated and lots of odd decor. , the kitchen drawers are full of everyones stuff that gets left behind and are quite dirty, downstairs furniture is stained and torn, chairs are wobbly- we had to tighten screws where we could. Overall with a little updating and cleaning I would recommend.

House in southeast Rockford
Check in was good. House was clean. I had two dogs and there was no fence in yard so I had to keep them leashed. The bedrooms lack a chair for putting on shoes and socks. There are no sidewalks in the neighborhood so I couldn't walk my dogs. I probably won't stay here again, just for that reason. I was pleased to be able to put my car in the garage. The garbage can area needs to be illuminated. The house lacks any fans for air movement, so bring your own.

OK for a night or two but nothing great!
Fridge was full of partially used food including a large bag of moldy celery sticks. I can understand the partial bottles of condiments but partials on milk, OJ, humus, dips etc was just disgusting. Linens and towels are the best Goodwill has to offer. No cable or antenna so needed to have your own subscription for smart TV and own devices for other TVs. Furniture looks good in pics but in person it is the inexpensive put together and is falling apart. The love seat is about to break completely, the back creaks and leans back 3 inches when sat upon. The beds are comfortable. Overall good for a night or two for two people.
