This house was so enjoyable!!! It is a trip out there but worth the drive! The porch and deck were so enjoyable to sit on and enjoy the beautiful weather! The cows were so fun to watch in the fields and the house was nice and clean! The owners were super responsive and easy to work with. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!!!

Gorgeous & peaceful!!
This property is everything it's shown to be and more. We could sit on those porches for days! The host, Jane, was awesome. Quick to respond and even left us a bottle of wine & apologized for the trees not turning yet knowing we were there on a fall foliage trip. : ) Super sweet and thoughtful! The only thing I missed or didn't know was that it was a little further from a town than we realized, but we didn't care bc those backroads provide beauty at every turn!

Simply awesome
This place is so fun! Cows, tennis, huge porches. The owner thinks of everything-laundry detergent, dish soap, shower gel. It's those simple things that mean a lot. Esp since it's a drive to get to a store. And the snack basket! Definitely going back....might become "our place".

Magical!
The landscape is so much prettier in person! In summer it’s green, green, green! And AMAZING views of Jump Mountain, hence it’s name! Favorite part was coffee and wine on top porch AND playing tennis! Loved the sound of creek and watching the cows migrate around the fields. And pretty flowers all around. Owner was easy to contact and responded quickly with any questions I had. We will be back, and hopefully soon. It was so nice to be removed from the rest of the world and surrounded by peace and tranquility!

Beautiful Farmhouse in Gorgeous Location!
My extended family and I (7 total) rented this property for a reunion weekend in mid-October. What an absolutely gorgeous location! Direct view of Jump Mt. in all of it’s autumn glory. Saw so many birds, deer, wild turkeys, two bear cubs on the road into Lexington. And the farmhouse is just lovely! Roomy kitchen for cooking and hanging out, great upper and lower front porches for watching sunsets, comfortable beds, and nice linens and towels. We had so much fun playing cocktail hour shuffleboard! We will absolutely be back back. One of the most beautiful spots in Rockbridge County! Thank you to the wonderful owners who were so helpful and welcoming!

Tranquil getaway
This lovely farmhouse was just the escape we needed from our busy routine. The setting is idyllic surrounded by mountains, cow pastures and a trickling stream that can all be viewed from the 2nd level screened porch. We enjoyed the history of the place as well as the rustic, country decor. The full kitchen enabled us to make many of our own meals and the tennis court and basketball hoop on the property were a big hit with our kids. It is in close proximity to nearby attractions like Natural Bridge, Lexington and the drive through safari. During our stay, there was an issue with the water pressure and the owners were very responsive, sending someone out to look at it the same day, which we greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay again if we plan a trip back to the area!
