Great stay for the family
We loved the location. Perfect place to bring the family since the location is right off of the beach. We also appreciated that the linens and towels were clean and that the rooms smelled clean even when it's a pet friendly location. We also found that the properties appliances were useful and we loved that we didn't need to go to the store for any utensils. Overall, very pleased with our stay and will likely come back again.

Great View and location
I loved the view and how close it was to the beach. Would not stay in the unit again. The microwave quit working, the dvd player was out for repairs, the kitchen was dirty when arrived, the towels in the kitchen smelled moldy. We contacted who we rented through about the microwave and they said they would give us a partial credit but we never did see it. We did enjoy looking at the ocean and hearing the waves. We just would probably not pick this condo again.

Great spot to get away
We loved this rental. It was very roomy and gotta love being right on the beach. Kitchen well set up with most needs. No elevator so if you aren’t able to do stairs another property would better suit you.

Beautiful space could use more hooks to hang towels. Shower and tub amazing. Bring your own zip lock bags if u r planning on cooking. No BQ ice maker in fridge. Very private last condo on the beach making beach not crowded . Overall i would stay again!!

Great Space - Cleanliness Needs Attention
The accommodations are great, but the cleanliness needs improvement. When we arrived there were blankets wadded up and shoved in the closet (assuming dirty). Additionally, ALL of the bath towels smelled musty/moldy and there was no laundry detergent so we went to buy some. We were also only provided a single dishwasher tab yet instructed to start dishes and laundry before leaving.

Incredible view and great stay!
My friends and I booked this place for a friend’s birthday weekend! The directions made it super easy to find, and once we got there it was perfect! The space was clean, with VERY tall ceilings. Plenty of room for more than just the 3 of us that went! We kept saying how perfect this would be to come to with our partners and kids again someday! We will be back!

As advertised.
Perfect space for a family of four. Kitchen was well appointed. Comfortable living space. Nice sized dining table for eats and games. Beds were comfortable. We got a little excited about convincing our boys to watch an old dvd that was there only to find that the player just froze. Worked out great as we all had a blast playing games. We will definitely be back!

Pros: great view, easy access to the beach, decorated nicely. Kitchen was fully stocked. Cons: carpet needs to be replaced with pet friendly flooring. Lots of old stains. The hot tub would not warm up. Was freezing.

Serenity by the sea.
Serenity by the sea is a beautifulz condo. It has a nice view of the ocean, which we didn’t expect. Couch and chairs in the living room were comfortable. Kitchen is large and fully stocked. Some things we didn’t like: throw blanket on the couch was dirty and had a smell. Hand prints smeared on the window. Surfaces looked like they had been washed with a dirty rag which left a film on everything. Food was left caked in the drain and in the sink. Dish towels had a bad smell. Stove hadn’t been cleaned and when I cleaned it my sponge was covered in black grime. The bath towels (body, hand, and wash clothes) were very threadbare, stained, and smelled bad. And on a personal note the bed was rather hard but the sheets seemed clean. All that being said, we had a wonderful time. I would suggest that possibly using bleach may the smelly towel situation, but they really need to be replaced. We would stay hear again if the opportunity arises.

Great location and great condo.
Everything was great except there was a mouse in the wall that was very loud and the toilet in the master runs every 5-10 minutes. Between the toilet and the mouse, which is only active at night, it was very hard to sleep in the master bedroom. When I reported it to the property manager they treated the issues as not important and acted like we were just being dramatic. We ended up not being able to sleep in one of the rooms due to the noise. They did not compensate us for the inconvenience. Otherwise it was a great space and awesome location.

Nice place, but
over all nice place to stay, but I found there was some lack of communication via emails. There is an elevator there are steps on how to use it. And if if wasnt for someone else staying there and letting g us know that the elevator was down. Second thing is we lost power. No biggie but there was absolutely nothing inside the condo incase of power outage. (Flashlights, lantern etc) 7:30 pm was kind of dark and trying to access emails without wifi to contact someone.

This is my first time using VRBO and I'm pleasantly surprised how easy it was and how nice the unit was. Super clean large pet friendly. Comfortable beds I slept in the living room cuz I like to keep the TV on. There are no TVs in the bedrooms however. That's okay though really nice walk out balcony in the master with a really nice deep soaking tub. Everything was really clean and updated. We loved that there was chairs in the closet and plenty of beach towels. Lots of Linens and comforters in case you're cold plus they have a couple heaters. This was at the beginning of August and the unit was not hot.. I'm not sure if it has AC or not. Stocked with everything you need. There's even a vacuum cleaner for the sand and a washer and dryer and a broom. The refrigerator has an ice maker and there's a Keurig coffee maker and a kettle. This unit is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator but it's really close to the beach and the view from the balcony and the living room is mostly of the beach.. you can see the water and the waves crashing. This unit is great for dogs.. we put a diaper on our little girl and a pee pad on the balcony and she had no problems making potty. Make sure to bring your own shampoo conditioner and body soap as there were none provided which we didn't expect. They have plenty of towels washcloths and paper towels and toilet paper. Overall one of the best experiences I've ever had traveling to the beach. Loved the convenience of walking out of your room and h

Dirty and not maintained
The unit was dirty upon arrival. Blood on the towels and bathroom floor. Clothes washer and dryer didn't work well. It took 200 minutes to dry one load of towels. Dumpsters were overflowing. I was told we'd have 2 designated parking spots during our stay. We never had access to those. They were occupied the entire stay. I am unsure who the vehicles belonged to. This was very inconvenient when traveling with 4 kids and all our luggage etc. Hot tubs were filthy and un-useable for 3 nights of our 4 night stay.

Terrible lodging
We love the Oregon coast and we’re excited to stay at a new location in Rockaway Beech. The pictures look amazing and glad we could bring our pup. Unfortunately when we walked in, expectations went down hill. First, there is Capet throughout which is no big deal but this is a pet friendly condo. There were obvious accident stains all over the carpet. A hardwood or LVP would be a better, cleaner option. Also, it was very musty. I get it, higher humidity but there were no fans and all the windows did work. Also no forced air. The cleaning was less than sun-par. Dirt and sand littered the top of the baseboards. We called but never had call returned. The WiFi didn’t work. We were given the wrong password until we were called by the local management. Finally, the last night there was some sort of party by teens or young adults in the hot tub. Very load, smoking marijuana. They weren’t even staying there as they left when they were done. It’s obvious the owners never stay here Do. Not. Stay. Here

Trip with serenity
