Good solid space with great access to Mayo. However, would not say "exceptional"
I needed a space for my pregnant daughter, her husband, and their toddler because their furnace died on Christmas Eve. I selected this property because it was reasonably priced and was rated as an "exceptional” property. The space is nice with good access to the Mayo Clinic. However, at the risk of getting a bad renter review, I do not think the property has earned its “exceptional” property rating.First, there were none of the extra’s you usually see at an "exceptional" property. There was no “welcome” note, no coffee, and no pantry of any kind. None of the items are required, but I didn’t see any extras that justified the “exceptional” property claim.Second, my kids had a noise issues. The toddler of the trio was awakened by remodeling noise (pounding, table saw noise, and drilling) from the other unit 3 times in 2 days. I contacted the owner after I found out the kids left 2 days early. I was told, “Really sorry to hear that. It was optional improvement work and we could have stopped it right away. Wish you had told us before making other arrangements.” I think it is fair to say, subjecting clients to unexpected remodel noise, waiting for them to speak up if needed, and offering no tangible apology for owner-initiated inconvenience is not an “exceptional” property experience. I'm sure the remodel will be done by the time the next renters arrive. So I would recommend it. But it is not an "exceptional" property in my mind.
