"I’m an expat and every time I come home to Basel I stay here. It’s just a good old-fashioned grand hotel. Swiss hotel business at its best. People are super friendly, rooms are big, bathrooms are modern, spacious and nice and some rooms have nice balconies. Also great bar and breakfast. Cheap for what it is in my opinion! Love the Euler - long time tradition! I stayed in a junior suite with balcony and a deluxe double room with balcony. Both are superb. I’m a big fan of quality pillows and bedding and they have the BEST! Tram is right in front of hotel, easy walk to old town and shopping is open late inside the train station. It’s perfect!"

The hotel was very nice too - comfortable and quiet. The Basel Card they gave us was a nice perk too, giving us free access to public transit and discounts at attractions. I would consider returning to Basel even more, just to stay here again. "
