We loved this sweet little bungalow!
We were so comfortable here, in a great neighborhood, and the cutest little town - right in the center of all on our to-do list!
Rocheport is a lovely little town to get away from it all. Nice restaurants and the Katy Trail is wonderful. The Sunflower was what we needed for a weekend getaway
House had everything we needed and owners left a book of helpful information about the town, things to do etc. They left their number in case of any issues (but no problems for us). We came to town for our daughters graduation from MU but will come back to see the town!
The kitchen and bathrooms were nicely updated, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed was available, and the home was tastefully decorated. This is an older home, so it does have character. The extra bedrooms are in what would probably have been attic space originally, but the ceiling fans kept the air cool and circulated even with 90s outside. An enjoyable stay for us, our kids, and our dogs.
We stayed in this Honey House last year and loved it. This time we stayed in the Sunflower House and loved having the master on the main floor. The kitchen was well equipped and we made many good meals. We also loved walking the Katy Trail and visiting the shops and restaurant.
We had an wonderful stay at the Sunflower House! Very clean and the owner was very easy to contact when needed. We would definitely stay again!!
Thank you!!!
This home had everything we needed and was so very comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were updated with modern looks and equipment and the rest still had the charm of a historic bungalow. I should have payed better attention that there were only bathrooms on the main floor, which made it a little difficult for an aging parent. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.
We were in Rocheport mo. For a wedding. The house was very close to the venue and had a nice fenced in yard for our dog. The house was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Would definitely stay again.
It’s a cute and very well taken care of house. Kitchen and bathrooms are updated and so clean. The garage was a big plus and the screened porch! We will be back!
We stayed for a month at the Sunflower House in Rocheport, which is located right off the Katy bike trail. We had our dog with us and some friends came and joined us at different times while we stayed there. Comfortable home – great fenced backyard for dog and nice screened in porch. Garage is a big plus for us as we had electric bikes and could store our bikes inside the garage. Rocheport residents are very friendly and we could walk to all the restaurants. Cooked several meals in the kitchen and the bathrooms were nicely redone. The upstairs rooms are a bit challenging with the stairs. All beds were comfortable. Had washer dryer as well. What we enjoyed the most was being able to get right on the Katy bike trail without having to drive anywhere. Lovely time and great memories made.
The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the house was cute. Loved the screened in porch and the firepit. The only negative comment is 3 of the bedrooms are upstairs. The stairs are very steep and narrow. We are in our 70s and managed but if you have people with mobility issues it could be a problem. Also, no bathroom upstairs. Both bathrooms on the main floor. Loved the location and enjoyed the shops, restaurants and winery.
This cottage was charming, great garage for bike storage, and in one of the cutest little towns along the Katy trail. We did day rides instead of end- to-end. The cottage had the amenities we needed along with the charm and warmth of a quaint old house.
We enjoyed the location close to the town center and the proximity to the KATY Trail. Great fall bike rides near rhe river and good restaurants right in town. We even took in a bluegrass show that Saturday at the park!
This house is a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and life. Lovely, thoughtfully renovated house. Rocheport is a quiet, peaceful village. Columbia and Boonville are not far away if you need groceries or something. Perfect place to visit if you need some quiet...
