"Die gesamte Familie war unglaublich nett und immer hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist einfach und sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Es finden sich viele sizilianisce Details im Haus und es gibt alles, was man für die Ferien braucht. Der Pool ist für kleine Kinder super zum erfrischen. Zum Meer braucht man eine ganze Weile mit dem Auto. Das ist der einzige Minuspunkt. Die umliegenden Ortschaften bieten ebenfalls alles, was man braucht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und glücklich!"

"9 adults and 3 kids had plenty of place. Each family had its own room with own bathroom. The flats can be rented separate but we had the full property due to our size. The terrace is fabulous olous and the rooms well equipped. It is up the hill and very close to the cable car station (basically just up the hill)."

"We visited here on our honeymoon. Fantastic and relaxing place to stay while exploring Sicily. The host (and family) are extremely friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and accommodations are as advertised. Quiet place, great views, lovely pool. Very easy to explore Etna and a short drive to highway to explore the east coast of Sicily. Local recommendations from host for coffee, pastries, restaurants, and activities were all great. We hope to return in the future!"

"It has everything you need although we bought a couple of items we wanted like a chopping board. Bedrooms and bathrooms were fine and the bbq area is fantastic. The bread and pizza oven beat me but was fun trying. We were bitten by local insects frequently but not sure where we were targeted. Didn't spoil anything at all. Sarah welcomed us and took time to show us around the house which was a nice touch. Take care to be economical with electricity as this is an additional charge. We paid 24...

"Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

"We loved our stay at Villa Etna Mare. The setting is amazing with the most wonderful views of Mount Etna and the coast. The villa is very well equipped with a great outdoor cooking area. The drive up to the villa is quite a drive! but the instructions from Michael meant that you knew exactly where you were and therefore didn't miss any turnings! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Michael, the host,was very helpful with any questions we had too about the local area."
