"We have just spent 3 nights at this fabulous property. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. They advised us on where to eat and even booked some restaurants for us as well as advising us on good places to visit in the vicinity. The property is beautifully renovated and incredibly stylishly presented but feels relaxed and comfortable. Our room really was lovely. "The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"This is a quirky and charming little property. We loved it. We had a two story room with large window and beautiful view of the cathedral from our bedroom. Our bathroom was on the first floor down a spiral staircase. Yes, it was delightfully quirky. This is a great place for those who shun standard square room."

"Due to flights we had 2 nights here before moving to our holiday accommodation. The owners were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, breakfastgreat and fridge stocked for us to use at reasonable prices. Lovely rooms and hotel very close to Sarlat."

Et Hervé nous a donné beaucoup de conseils aussi pour les visites autour."

"Sarlat is a great place from which to explore the Dordogne and you won't find a better place to stay than O Claire de Lune. Breakfasts included home baked bread and pastries and one day Crepe! We will recommend to all our friends for both this place and the region."

" Monique is a superb host and very helpful. The property has everything you could need in a small apartment. Everything was clean. The addition of an outside sitting area, free WiFi and parking made our stay special. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day - also included. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped - enough cooking and baking equipment do make almost anything. Exceptional value for money and very comfortable space. We will no doubt be back in future. "

"The hosts (Americans, who settled in France a few years ago ) were very kind and helpful. They speak French, English and Spanish. The husband - who is also the cook - proposes dishes typical to the area for the dinner. Nice location, terrasse, and pool. The rooms are nice, but I would prefer a wood floor rather than tiles."
