It was a lovely stay: just a few nights away from home & work. The beds were super comfortable with nice linens. I wish they would've had chairs around the fire pit, but no complaints!!

Comfortable cabin on the lake
Dad and I stayed here for a weekend fishing trip and found the cabin comfortable. Internet connection was as advertised and expected in this region. Was still able to use phone Internet to watch football games on a nice television. Could use some slight utilities upgrades but overall comfortable lodging in a beautiful setting.

Great get away
Loved the ease of accessing the property and how well equipped the house was. The Kajaks are an added plus - loved exploring the lake starting right at the house. Water was clear and clean, great temperature for swimming also. We used the fire pit at night, the hosts had stocked fire wood and fire starters. Great place to stay for a weekend or longer.

Nice Kitchen but disappointing
We only end up staying one night out do the three we had booked. The kitchen is very nice and very well appointed. It seemed to be stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly need. With that being said there were more minuses for us than an awesome kitchen could make up for. The beds were very comfortable and the smart tvs were nice. The home had a strong of mold or mildew. The bathrooms are so incredibly small. We had very low warm water, it was not possible to get the water hot enough for a comfortable shower. The view is ok, and is on the lake but there is a very busy road directly behind the house that you can not see from the pictures. For us the road to get to the house caused a lot of anxiety. It is very very very small and is only wide enough for one car. You can not turn around. We missed the turn for the drive and had a hard time figuring out how to get onto the street because it wasn’t wide enough to make the turn. I mentioned this to the owner and said that they have never had this issue before. But for us it really dampened our experience. We would not return.

Wonderful home on the lake
Cabin is very well-maintained, clean, well stocked. Location is on quiet cove of lake Santeetlah, but easy to access and not too far from Robbinsville. Great amenities—4 kayaks, floats and pfds. Fire pit and dock were great too. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Great Lake House
Wonderfully appointed, comfortable house, well stocked, amazing views, kayaks and floaties were awesome. Great new kitchen! Almost no boat traffic in this area when we were there. 1 mile by water to Massey Branch boat launch. Would return! If you are a light sleeper or annoyed by dogs barking, be warned that across the way are a group of hound dogs that bark for solid hours, as well as sporadically through the day AND night (guess they are kept outside overnight). As mentioned in their listing, the wifi is on the slower side. If you require TV or video meetings while on vacay, you might want to bring your own hotspot or make other plans as it's unreliable / slow.

Girls trip to the lake
Some girlfriends and I booked a few nights at Lake Santeelah to go paddle boarding and relax. The house was easy to find, and we loved that it was right on the lake. The house was clean, however it could have used some upgrades for sure and it was a bit smaller than I thought would be. We loved the kayaks that were provided, and although we didn't use it, it was awesome to have a fire pit. There were 6 of us, and it was a bit tight, mostly because we had to share beds, and the two bathrooms (both upstairs) were very small. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked all our meals. We had one unfortunate experience which was I was swimming by the dock and someone had tied a fish hook to fishing line and hung it in the water off the dock. The fish hook caught into my foot and I had to go to Urgent Care- not fun!!!! I don't blame the property management company as there would be no way they could have know that the hook was there, however their response was underwhelming. I do think that the communication on their end could have been quicker and more supportive for sure. My overall impression of this house was good. We had a great time.

Wonderful house, loud neighborhood
The owners of the house clearly put a great deal of thought and care into making the house into a great vacation getaway. The house is comfortable and there were nice welcoming gifts on our arrival. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The property is right on the lake and there were four good kayaks for our use. The lake itself is lovely and we enjoyed paddling for hours along its various arms and tributaries. We saw a wealth of wildlife, including an amazing family of lake otters just off the dock. Our experience, however, was indelibly marred by the incessant barking and howling of a large number of dogs from a property across the lake. The dogs barked for hours each day, which greatly reduced our enjoyment of the outdoor spaces. The dogs were so loud we could hear them inside our bedrooms, and they woke us up once in the middle of the night and three mornings in the pre-dawn hours. The owners of the house were apologetic and said that they tried to contact various authorities to address the problem. Ultimately, nothing could be done to address the noise. While we enjoyed the house, we won’t return.

Great getaway!
The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was perfect. My girls and I had a weekend getaway there. It was clean and well maintained. There was wood if we wanted a fire, snacks upon arrival, etc. the best part for us was the kayaks and the kayak launcher on the dock. Teenage girls are hard to please and they were asking when we could come again before we left!

Great location near the Dayton Boat camp. Very well maintained, clean, efficient, and comfortable. Loved the fire pit on the chilly nights and loved the kayaks / canoes on the lake. Have stayed on the lake a few times. Really enjoyed the stay here. Nice BBQ and kitchen. Would definitely return🙏😊👍

Family Winter Escape
Our visit was perfect. The property was exactly what was advertised. Plenty of room for our family of 6 for 7 days. Our hosts left a welcome basket of snacks, treats, popcorn, and hot chocolate for our arrival. Kids loved it! Local maps, trails, and area info were also provided. Everyone enjoyed roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, snuggling by the fireplace for movies, and sleeping late in the cozy bedrooms. Even though it was cold, our brave kiddos headed out on the lake with the kayaks! They really enjoyed it. The views from the balconies were stunning. And the stars!! We don't get to see as many stars at night from our house in Florida! Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and baking. Hiking, scenic drives, towns for eating out and shopping all within 30 min to an hour in any direction. Hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will be back!

Absolutely beautiful cabin on Lake Santeetlah
We had a wonderful family Christmas vacation here at this beautiful cabin on the lake. The cabin was immaculate with special little touches everywhere. We really enjoyed the gas lit fireplace, it was warm and cozy. Made us feel at home. We were welcomed with a Christmas card and a small gift. Plenty of towels and supplies. Our boys enjoyed kayaking with the free supplied kayaks. They enjoyed fishing from the dock. I enjoyed the supplied Keurig coffee machine along with a nice selection of supplied Keurig pods. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Once we arrived back home my oldest son realized he had left his dorm room keys and lanyard hanging on the door of his bedroom. The owner quickly sent someone over to locate them and ship them to us. He refused reimbursement for shipping them to us. A very gracious host and we would definitely return back again. Beautiful cabin!

All those extras!
Thank you for letting us stay at your comfy lake house! We had one of our best family vacations ever here. I loved the new kitchen, large living area with new couches and huge TV! Not to mention all the extra touches like beach towels, welcome basket, and K-cups. The Cozy throws were also wonderful. The kayaks were our favorite activity at the house. It was located right on clean and beautiful Santeetlah Lake with lots of coves to explore. A boat rental business was right across the lake and we kayaked over to rent an extra canoe. Great views from the decks and fire pit. Easy check in and check out process. A short Drive to the food store was a big plus. We made many wonderful memories here I hated to leave!

A+ for hospitality and accommodation but D- for quietness. Between non-stop barking dogs, traffic on the roads, boat rentals, and neighbors practice riffle shooting in the backyard, it has been hard to relax and rest.
