Estrella Del Mar a 2 minute walk to beach, private and quiet!

We have had a home on Roatan for 20 years but our beautiful West Bay home is just two years old. Our friend Victor is the builder and he lives next door. We will meet you at the airport, take you to get groceries then deliver you to the door of “ Star Fish Cottage, Estrella Del Mar”! We are very close to Gumbalinda and the parrots fly over your veranda every evening! Upper unit sleeps 6 or 7 and lower unit sleeps 4

Short Winter Reprieve
We were on the second floor of this property. The view from the back deck was amazing with the local flora and fauna. A great place for our morning coffee. The apartment was well appointed, very clean, and the property manager was there to help whenever we needed her. A good stay...too short

worst experience!!
To start, the property is not located on the beach like the photos! There is nothing to do around this property. The host never sent us check-in instructions and we had to call the owner, she asked me to call the neighbors for the keys! we waited for hours and never checked in. We ended up renting a resort on the other side of the island. We lost a full day of vacation, but we are so glad we didn't stay there.

The property looked fantastic for the price. The property manager wanted to be helpful before we arrived. Si, that was nice. However, the condo smelled strongly yeah yeah like mold and mildew. We had to open doors and windows and turn the air on high, and it took three days to get rid of the musty smell. There was mold on the utensils on the kitchen counter. There was an excessive amount of hair on tile throughout condo. The bedsheets had stains. We have stayed at a lot of places. A couple of our young adult children were sick when we arrived. I am certain that we would hsve found another place to stay if they were not so eager for the beds on the first night.
