Underwhelming
Property shows up on the VRBO map next to beach, its a good 10-15min walk to the beach. Property needs major maintenance, it is in disrepair all over. Water not running in kitchen sink, 5 gal water bottle provided but has a leaky attachment. No internet all week.

Good time, good value
General location was good. Close (a good walk) to West Bay and relative close (a short drive) to West End. We liked the layout of the rental. Kitchen was very nice, although lack of functioning grill a bit disappointing. (this was made clear before we rented). Only bedrooms had A/C, but upper floor living area was always tolerable and generally comfortable with through-breezes. Upper floor views jungle and ocean (to the south) were nice from front and rear of house. Rental was advertised on Vrbo as accommodating up to 6, but I can't see how more than 4 adults could sleep comfortably. A third bedroom is under construction as of our recent visit, which will accommodate more people. In process construction made things look a little shabby outside, but we were not disturbed by any construction during our visit. Access to neighborhood was a little daunting, at first, (bumpy/steep), but really no problem. Sofa in main living area was not in good condition (it looked OK, but support collapsing and not comfortable). Owners were always responsive to questions/requests, although sometimes communication wasn't perfectly clear. Our bottom line...we enjoyed our short vacation and the rental. Rental is not high-end, but we did consider it a good value.
