"We stayed in October and it was just hot enough to enjoy the pool and lying about in the crisp but warm mountain air. Property is sweet and check in caring. Space feels like a home rather than business, with generous touches of cheese and tomatoes to welcome us. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Bed was a little hard after 4 nights. But all round we LOVED this place."

"My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay, 5/5. The host Stelios is very welcoming, helpful and kind. The mansion is beautiful, our room was amazing with a private balcony and the pool looks over the valley and Heraklion. "This was our first trip anywhere in Greece. We chose Plakias on the south west cost of Crete, and I'm so glad we did as the weather was stunning, for October, as was Crete itself. "This was a superb apartment with a postcard perfect view of the Libyan Sea and sunsets that took our breath away. Our host and those who helped him could not have done more to make our stay more pleasant. We visited archaeological sites across Crete, using this apartment as our base. "This beautiful property in Mirthios has beautiful views and all of the amenities one would want to make an enjoyable holiday. We drove from Chania to this location and we were happy that we rented a car so that we could drive down to Plakias (6 minutes away) to enjoy the beaches and Taverna’s. This property is in Close proximity to many must see attractions. Kostas was an amazing host. His attention to detail Is amazing and we thank him for a lovely stay. "

"This is a great property, the living space is quite small, but the balcony is brilliant. It’s reasonably private and has a view of harbour restaurants in one direction and the beach and caves on the other.
