For example, the refreshments offered at check-in often ran out, the sauna or hamman invariably did not work, and although I was entitled to an upgrade and late check out, neither was provided to me although there was obviously an upgraded room available because I could have booked it myself on their website when I checked. "The Hostel is very comfortable Nice and modern with a lovely bar on the ground floor. The only negative point is the position,up on the hill,so it's not very easy to reach if you are coming with luggages or buggies and young kids. Overall is a good price for the expensive Lyon."

"Great location within walking distance to all major sites in Lyon. Fabulous exterior. Very nice lobby and restaurant on site, with great ambiance. An excellent spa, with very attentive staff. Room service works like clockwork, better and more reliable than you'd find in any hotel. Rooms are rather basic, however; bathrooms are clean and modern, but the rest of the room feels dated and cheaply made (old carpets, cheap desks, worn out lamps, etc). One of my TVs did not work. And the gym is tiny...

"The hotel is very nice. It is well decorated, super well located, and it has a very nice vibe to it. The building is old, so there are a few things you should take into account: the elevator is small and slow, and halls are small and a bit inconvenient. But the rooms are big and well furnished, very clean, and very nice. The bathroom in my room was very spacey, and well equipped. "Had an amazing 5 night stay at the hotel. The interior is beautiful and clean. Our stay coincided with my girlfriend's 30th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make the day special for her. The spa facilities are also great and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. The hotel is in an ideal location and great for shopping and proximity to restaurants. I can't recommend the hotel enough 10/10. "
