I assumed since the reviews were so high that this would be a great option. I was wrong. The lady in the room beside us was on the phone a lot and it sounded like she was in the room with us. Walls are very thin. You can hear everything! Property is clean-ish but very outdated. I would pay the extra money and go across the street. We thought we were getting a suite. Hahaha. It was more like a cracker box. That was our mistake but since there were very few people at the hotel, good customer service would have given us an upgrade. It’s the best marketing tool. Creates repeat customers and costs the organization nothing.

I like that the room was exactly as pictured and check-in was very fast. What I dislike the stomping from people upstairs or cars with loud mufflers, passing by the hotel

I got a 2 bed suite which was lovely. Very clean but no kleenex. The parking lot wasn't good...potholes were bad. No elevator...if you have trouble with stairs, probably not for you. My keycard stopped working after 1 night and had to get it re-keyed which was very inconvenient. Overall, they were friendly and place was acceptable.

Older chain motel now privately owned - very clean; walk-in large shower was enjoyable. Comfortable room chair in addition to desk chair. Highly recommend Las Trancas restaurant just down the street.

This is our third time staying at McCoy's Inn on our return trip home from Myrtle Beach. We have been very happy with the accommodations and will continue to return if we find ourselves needing to stop before continuing on to Michigan. No complaints at all!

This was our second year staying here. We love the fact that it's very quiet and a small hotel and seems very family oriented. All the staff was very nice. If I had one complaint it would be the beds are very firm.
