"A warm and cosy stay while we celebrated a friend's 60th. Staff were very welcoming and allowed us to use a projector to watch the rugby, as there was no TV in the bar. (Which we would normally like!) Breakfast was tasty with fresh, local ingredients cooked to order. Would definitely go back again!"

"Our stay was fine. My other half became cold during the night. I had to switch the fridge off as it was noisey and we could hear road noise in the morning. The engineered oak floor requires attention. All minor issues and overall our stay was fine."

"My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of December in the Warren room and it was so comfortable! Ziz was the perfect host, what a lovely place the Sheriff Lodge is, close to town and 5 mins from a lovely nearby pub for an evening meal. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice, the homemade granola topped with fruit was the best! Overall a wonderful place to stay and we will return in the summer. Thank you Ziz once again, kind regards Ian & Christine x"

"We loved staying here! It was a lovely quirky place and we were very well looked after! We had lots of coffee and biscuits whenever we wanted them and two beautiful cooked breakfasts! "The hotel is very tastefully decorated and modern the staff very helpful and friendly the food excellent and cost was very reasonable. Unfortunately the room we stayed in was right at the front off the hotel it did have modern double glazed windows but they were useless the traffic outside never stopped until after midnight and restarted around 4 am.I am quite a heavy sleeper but this had to be the worst night’s sleep I’ve experienced at a hotel, the bed looked lovely but we couldn’t turn over...
