"This was our third visit and as always everything was impeccable. A tiny bed and breakfast in the heart of Chiavenna that out performs some of the bigger hotels in the area. Beautiful room (No 2) with compact but really attractive shower room, coffee making machine and fridge. Easy check in and personalised breakfast order taken. "We paid almost $200 for the room for one night and they put us in a room in the back of the hotel where we had to climb up and down ladders to get to, even though the hotel had a very low occupancy rate. In my opinion, if they ever wanted us to return to their hotel in the future, they could have upgraded our room. On the plus side, they did have a shuttle to take us from and to the train station."

"I stayed 6 days and would book here again but only room 4 or 5. The website is misleading: forget breakfast and do not expect aesthetics. The owners artworks are everywhere! Marco will insist that you squeeze into the tiniest parking space even if the whole lot is empty! In the end, the studio served its purpose....but this is no ‘mansion’: you hear every tiny sound from other rooms. Plastic flowers?"
