"Property is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and fresh paint. Many large cobwebs in bedroom. There is a bed in the living room. Baseboards and caulking are grimy with years of built up dirt. Furniture is old toss-aways. Kitchen chairs are awkward and roll out from under you when you sit. They are too big for the tiny eating area with barely space for two. The chairs are also very low so you are sitting with the table at your upper chest. Items like Soap, towels, and area rugs are very cheap....

"Overall would recommend Desert Compass to others. The suite was tidy. The location was awesome. The bed was comfortable with 2 options for pillow type. It felt secure with gate codes and door codes. However, I would caution against staying in any first floor unit or at least the Cowgirl Suite. We could hear our upstairs neighbors walking back and forth. Similar to living in a bottom floor apartment. You also won't get much sunlight and what little you can you will likely opt out of as it means...

We loved that we could ride our bikes directly from the casita to the Paseo del Bosque Trail and get in a nice 20+ mile ride without having to drive to a trailhead. The place was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Had a great time!"

"This is a great house! Very clean, it has everything you need. Nice neighborhood. Easy check in. It does have memory foam mattresses. I’m not a huge fan of those but many are. The only real issue we had was the hot water pipes froze on our last night, preventing us all from getting hot showers in the morning but NM was experiencing record lows and the host said many homes in the neighborhood were affected. This is not the host’s fault and they did try to make it right in many ways. ...

"We had reserved a room with a king size bed and upon arrival we were told that all they had was a room with two double beds. One of the beds had stains on the sheets, the toilet wasn’t functioning properly and the shower had very low water pressure. "
