Best location in Rio for a super good price
We booked this hotel for 3 nigths to start thinking that if we didnt like it we could find another place to stay for the rest of our stay... ended up staying 7 nights in total. Best location for the price . Super breakfast , walking distance to everywere , good food around the hotel and easy access to all tours . They are in the process of upgrading the place , so , you might get a room that is not updated , but you will still be happy to be there. Nice place, nice people ,

Great for minimalist - low maintenance travelers - Its a bed, a shower and a tv - If your looking for the Ritz, this ain't it - But its great for the price and location, staff was very helpful and felt very safe.

Can't believe it was this bad
If I knew it was this bad, I would have spent more for a better hotel. This hotel is very super old. Things are working, but they all look run down. Bed lights have no covers or shades. Everything in the bathroom although is cleaned, but seems about to fall apart any minute. I booked for 1 person, but somehow I've got a room with 3 single beds. I tried them all, they are all itchy. I had to sleep on the cover (less itchy). There was some strong smell of all the old stuff, I had to turn off the A/C and opened the windows, but still smell it. The elevators are also dated and scary. Plus it only goes up to 12th floor. Need to walk up 2 flights to the breakfast room. I guess the hotel was probably awesome in the 60s, but they never keep up since then. Just fix what has to be done. Anyway, the staff are all very nice and smiley. Breakfast is good with nice views of the ocean from high floor.

The hotel was half block from the beach. This was quite good. The breakfast room was quite a spectacular view of the beach. The breakfast was very good/satisfying. The shower was powerful and gave you a pleasing massage. The elevators a bit scary. The room was clean, but had no extra aesthetics to make it comfortable. The toilet door was very old in 201. Please change it. The night female staff was so grumpy not even a forced smile.

Great view, close to beach
My experience was positive until the last night. The fellow at the front desk refused to allow me to bring my friend up to my room. He stated that I had not paid for 2 people. He absolutely refused to relent and was verbally abusive. He told me to leave the hotel and get lost. His belhavior was entirely inappropriate.

The hotel is excellent for overnight and during the day meet Rio or spend on the beach, is not a hotel to stay, facilities are old, located near the beach, breakfast is good.

Eu adorei o Hotel Toledo, a localidade, o café-da-manhã, o quarto bem arejado, cama limpa, a recepção, cafezim ao esperar o elevador....rsrsrs...tudo perto, metrô, ônibus, bike( APP Itaú). Restaurante, pizzaria, mercado. A única parte que não gostei foi o elevador, ser lento, antigo, pequeno, suporta apenas 5 pessoas, sem bagagem, pois se passar um peso a mais, ele fica desnivelado. Se alguém deixar a porta encostada ele não desce. Fica preso nos andares. Mas foi só isso, de resto foi maravilhoso.

Não foi o que esperávamos os quartos não condizem com a imagens das fotos que passa uma imagem de limpo e agradável. Lugar não tem serviço de quarto, lençóis encardidos pra uma cama de casal usaram dois de solteiro pra forrar a cama. Banheiro sujo cheiro ruim no quarto. Cobertor com cheiro ruim. Acho que não importa se o prédio é velho a higiene e tudo. Café da manhã bom e atendimento otimo.

Sehr gute Lage zum Strand und Geschäften
Das Hotel liegt sehr gut. Zum Strand von Copacabana sind es nur wenige Schritte. Auch die Av. Nossa Sra. da Copacabana mit Bushaltestellen, Restaurants, Bars, Supermärkte, Banken und viele andere Geschäften ist in unmittelbarer Nähe.

O hotel é muito bem localizado, em rua tranquila e próximo a muitos restaurantes e ao metrô. O quarto é espaçoso e limpo e o café da manhã e bom. O que deixa a desejar é a conservação do hotel. Os armários dos quartos são muito velhos, e as portas dos quartos estão muito deterioradas, e deixam uma aparência muito ruim dos corredores e sensação de insegurança nos quartos.
