Great rooms dreadful reception service
Do not expect a warm or enthusiastic welcome in any way from reception. They will make you feel they are doing you a favour by checking you in with the bare minimum of interaction. I have stayed twice and will not stay again. They F&B staff are great and could teach the reception team something about offering hospitality

Area surrounding the Hotel is soulless. Delays at reception and room service was unacceptable. Rooms we're clean.

Good location for HSBC arena events
The hotel is tucked between other high rise apt buildings, thus hard for cab drivers to find. It is a not a tourist area (yet) but if you are attending an event at the HSBC arena, it's a perfect location. You can walk to the arena, past several nice restaurants thus avoiding the horrible traffic! The hotel itself is very nice and clean. Service was a touch slow and not many people spoke English, but were most helpful overall.

There was a power cut for about 2 hours. No one from the hotel called to apologize. No compassion was offered by the senior management. It was business as usual. One day, I went to the restaurant. No one came to give me the menu. I had to go get it. Then, no one came to get my order. I left and went to eat outside. The TV : not too many choices in English.

Eu particularmente gostei muito do hotel devido a sua localização (lugar bem tranquilo) e afastado da loucura da cidade. Piscina e café da manhã bem agradáveis também. Os quartos são bem confortáveis. Eu recomendaria a todos que querem tranquilidade e sossego.

Logo na chegada perdi um tempo jamais perdido em quaisquer outros hoteis que me hospedei anteriormente, para fazer apenas um check in! Tive que ligar no hotéis.com para que este ligasse ao hotel pois não estavam encontrando minha reserva e de meu amigo. Ficamos uma meia hora esperando no saguão. Após localizarem minha reserva, ainda fui para um quarto standart, sendo que eu havia reservado suite e mesmo mostrando ao atendente do hotel ele insisitir em dizer que não era suite, depois de mais vários e vários minutos viram o erro e me acomodaram na suite a que eu fazia jus! Por fim a localização na Barra da tijuca e deveras longe da praia e quarto cheio de pernilongos nunca tinha visto isso em um hotel e olha que já fiquei em vários! Por fim, não recomendo e jamais voltarei ao mesmo, uma pena pois fiquei anteriormente no peomenade casa del mar aí no rio e a receptividade no hotel fora totalmente diferente, o que se espera de um hotel de médio porte como este!
