I had a great stay at Laghetto. Being across the beach and having complimentary beach chairs and umbrella in a safe area is a huge bonus. Ubers are super affordable in Rio and had no issues getting around the city. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing and I would come back just for that. Will say though, the facilities do need a little upkeep. Could tell the cleaning in my room was not the best and some of the shelving needed fixing and walls needed repainting. I noticed a bit of mold around the shower. l Overall would give the stay a 7.5/10.

A bit outdated; some things could use a bit more cleaning and renovation, but the hotel is located in a great spot and the customer service was great! The only thing I didn’t like was the mildew smell of some parts, but it wasn’t unbearable.

This hotel was amazing!! I felt so welcomed as soon as I walked in the door! Receptionist Vinicius was super nice! They helped to charge my portable charger at the front desk when my adapter no longer worked! All staff members helped to facilitate Uber pick up and drop off! Because I spoke Portuguese it was easier to build a good relationship with them! They were so respectful, informative and made sure I made it to my destination and back safely seeing I was a solo traveler! I will DEFINITELY book with them again when I go back! Thank you!!

The hotel was decent but requires immediate maintenance and upgrades. The furniture in the room was rusty, and there were stains on the carpet. However, the staff was excellent, with Lilian standing out for her exceptional room service. She ensured we always had fresh towels and that our room was thoroughly cleaned throughout our stay.

This property is in dire need of maintenance. The facilities in the rooms are rusty and the carpets dirty. I sincerely worried that the glass door of the shower would fall off. My shower and sink barely drained, and the bed was made so poorly because the sheets are inches too small. The breakfast in the morning, however was fabulous.

It had lots of ants in our room, the phone wasn’t working properly but the fixed both problems immediately!! Overall the hotel was nice and walkable to the beach & dining there’s a tourist guy who sits outside the property all day which was comfy!! It definitely can use a few minor updates to the hotel & the breakfast wasn’t the best also the rooms are really small..

Recomendo!!!

Ótimo custo benefício, hotel super bem localizado, atendentes muito receptivos, destaco Gabriel da recepção, muito gentil e prestativo e Anderson que fica na entrada do hotel, muito atencioso e prestativo. Minha sugestão é que tenha varal portátil para secar as tolhas na varanda, hóspedes colocam no guarda corpo e seria uma enconomia de água não trocar as tolhas todos os dias.

Triste surpresa

Queda sensível do padrão e qualidade dos serviços. Ralos entupidos no banheiro do quarto, a área da piscina estava sem ducha, sem reposição de toalhas, o sistema de som estava quebrado, poucos garçons, serviço muito demorado. Os funcionários continuam muito simpáticos e prestativos, porém como já fomos várias vezes ao hotel, notamos bastante essa mudança para pior no geral.
