The place is great value, beautiful studio with an amazing top roof pool. Great customer service. The area around is not the nicest if you walk but it’s close to the famous stairs and lots of transportation. Overall excellent.

The hotel is located in one of the oldest area of Rio, close to the Lapa Arch. It’s surrounded by bar clubs and restaurants. It seems that the entire area is opened 24hrs. The building of the hotel is probably old but it’s been renovated, especially the bathroom. The breakfast is very good, lots of fruits, breads, juices, cakes. I am not sure if it’s because of Carnival since the hotel is crowded with tourists, but I enjoyed every minute of it, especially pao de queijo (cheese ball)

The staff are courteous and helpful, however the hotel's physical condition is poor - it does not match promotional photos. Dingy room paint and bathrooms needing renovation contribute to an unkempt aesthetic. More pressingly, ineffective cleaning causes strange odors property-wide. Finally, noisy outdated air conditioners fail to properly cool rooms. The one bright spot is the decent pool area. Significant facility updates would better align reality to marketing for this hotel.

Very old and tired hotel
Stayed here for 4 nights. I wasn't comfortable at all. 1. Room is very dark, lights need replacing to brighten up the room. 2. Towels were horrible. Very tatty and scratchy, even have holes. They looked like they were once white now greyish and just disgusting. 3. Pillows were horrible, lumpy. I can only dseceibe it as when you wash a duvet and they end up the insides clumpy. 4. Broken facilities like hairdrier (even after changing, just didnt work), light bulbs. The curtains look really dirty. 5.bed uncomfortable. Good points: 1. Staff were cordial 2. Breakfast: fresh fruits! And the pizza for breakfast was very good. Freshly made!

Foi uma estadia Razoável, as acomodações são boas, porém tenho que ressaltar vários pontos que podem não agradar você que pretende se hospedar por vários dias como eu fiz. Pontos Positivos: Boa Localização, funcionários solícitos, Elevadores rápidos, café da manhã bom e as opções de cardápio para jantar é variado e os preços são acessíveis. Pontos Negativos: Ar condicionado muito barulhento e velho, tivemos que desligar ele, pois não dava para dormir. Além disso entram barulho da rua pelo buraco do ar condicionado, eles recebem muitos turistas e devem o quanto antes mudar para um ar condicionado novo. É muito ruim mesmo gente ! Sem condições. Segundo ponto negativo: parece que não havia preparo para receber grande quantidade de pessoas em alta temporada, por duas vezes chegamos para tomar café e não tinha talheres, xícaras e pratos. Terceiro ponto negativo: O banheiro, havia vazamento da água do chuveiro próximo ao vaso sanitário, uma parte do banheiro ficava todo molhado. Por fim, se você vai ficar um ou dois dias, até vale a pena, porém mais do que isso, aconselho pegar um hotel com opções melhores em relação a qualidade do descanso.

Ar condicionado defeituoso e mofo.
A reserva foi feita em face de uma conexão longa, por isso, chegamos ao hotel por volta das 22h. Ao chegarmos ao quarto, percebemos o forte cheiro de mofo, o que pode causar desconforto para que tem alguma alergia, que é o caso da minha esposa. Para piorar, o ar condicionado não estava funcionando. Após a confirmação do defeito por parte do atendente, solicitamos a troca do quarto, mas, para nosso surpresa, fomos informados que não havia outro quarto disponível. Percebemos, também, que o ar condicionado não tinha filtros. Considerando o horário e o voo na manhã seguinte, não havia mais tempo para procurarmos outro hotel na região. Passamos a noite no calor.
