Remodelled historical cottage, super location, w/hottub

Spacious and beautifully renovated semi-detached family home, with excellent indoor and out door dining, including 7 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Suitable for 12 adults (Bedrooms 1-6) and 2 children (Bedroom 7). Set in beautiful mature gardens, with private hot tub, two log burning fire stoves and sauna & plunge pool available. Direct forest access. Ideal location for Forests & Beaches.
An Italian Chef, Luigi, is available for home cooking & celebrations- please ask for details.
We note that we run two more properties on our land - Karelia which sleeps 10 and Viipuri which sleeps 14. The properties are separate but adjacent so ideal for booking for larger get togethers.

Fantastic house for big friends family group
We had a wonderful stay in the Studio. We went with four families and all had plenty of space and loved the garden, BbQ, hot tub and surrounding forest. Only 15 mins to the beach! Timo the host was great, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely long weekend
The property is set in fantastic grounds backing onto a woodland area perfect for walks and close to Moors Valley Country Park. We also had a great couple of meals from Luigi the local chef who cooked for us on 2 evenings.

Wonderful property and location
We enjoyed a wonderful few days for our family celebration. Timo was there to welcome us and the property was beautifully furnished, well equipped and clean throughout. We especially loved the beautiful garden, the location with access to the forest and the spacious hot tub. Highly recommended.

A wonderful stay
A beautiful house, full of character and spacious well equipped garden. We all had a great time and loved the hot tub. Good location for New Forest and beaches. We really enjoyed driving through the forest and seeing so many horses. Very near main road so some road noise but bearable.

The Studio
This was a lovely property in a beautiful location. The garden was great for the two dogs that we brought. The host showed us around when we arrived and said if we needed anything just to ring this was comforting. The only slight draw back was it could have been a little cleaner in fact there were a pair of knickers under one of the beds presumably left by a previous tenant!

A beautiful Property
A lovely property, ideal for 11 of us from 93 years to 5 years old. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area was perfect for us all to be together. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The hot tub was great, and being able to walk out of the garden gate into the forest was lovely. The fire pit was an added bonus. The property is well placed for visits to the New Forest. Altogether an amazing family Easter.

The accommodation/space was perfect for the family - 10 in total including 4 teenagers. New kitchen was great. Hot tub was great. Loved the garden. Wonder to finish the stay was a brilliant celebration meal from Gigi. Only slight disadvantage was the busy road. Thank you.

Great experience.
We visited from the United States. There were 10 in our group and we had plenty of space. It has the look and feel of an old cottage, with all of the modern up to date amenities. The outside grounds were spacious and beautiful!

Fabulous cottage with loads of history and great location
The studio is even better than it looks in the photos. Superbly equipped with everything you need for a family stay. The hot tub is brilliant too. The location is right by Moors Valley Woods which is excellent. Lots of lovely walks. Timo made us feel very welcome and helped with everything we need and then left us to enjoy a great family weekend. It’s a great entertaining space. We loved it.

Best of both worlds
The place is lovely, a beautiful holiday home we enjoyed our stay. Very nice grounds and location was perfect the forest just walking distance and the beaches all 15 mins by car so we had best of both worlds. Tim was always on call he communicated well at all times and is very friendly. The house had plenty of useful facilities. We will return

Perfect for a family celebration
A well appointed, very comfortable and spacious property within beautiful mature gardens. Lots of different seating areas. The hot tub, sauna and plunge pool were a big attraction. Luigi was our on site chef for a special birthday dinner and the meal was superb. All questions and requests received quick and helpful responses. Enjoyed the close proximity to Moors Valley Park. There was traffic noise from Horton Road but that in no way diminished our enjoyment of the property. Highly recommend.

May Bank Holiday
Communication right from the start was excellent, couple of questions we had before we arrived were quickly answered and Timo and Steven went out of their way to make the entire garden Puppy safe before we arrived. The house and grounds are wonderful, spacious and spotlessly clean and tidy. Facilities are excellent with gas and charcoal BBQ, hot tub and all the cutlery and tableware you could need. Very modern kitchen. Loads of room for family we had 8 and a dog but room to spread out if you want time on your own. BBQ and patio area are amazing as is the conservatory. Ringwood Forest is just through the gate in garden. Fantastic location for New Forest. Hosts are available but left us to get on and enjoy a great family weekend. Cannot recommend Timo, Steve and the Studio highly enough.

Great place for a family get together and good location
The lounge dining room and kitchen are large and well equipped for a large group. The conservatory although furniture a little tired was all clean and led onto the well established garden. which is equipped with several different sitting places and hot tub which was well maintained and clean. Bedrooms were small with limited storage in some but all were clean as well as all three bathrooms. As a group of eight we had a lovely time and made use of the firepit (plenty of wood was available) for evening meals and drinks, some of us enjoyed the hot tub while the more energetic explored the woodlands that you were able to reach via a path at back of garden. The location was great for exploring local area, Wimbourne Minster with it's model village and railway was a good place to visit with some great places to stop to eat While Bournemouth and New Forest National park only a short drive away.

Great property for a long weekend!
This property is ideal for a large group of friends or family. It comfortably accommodated 8 of us across 3 generations, including 2 small children - a great kitchen, lots of sleeping, chill out and dining options, plus plenty of bathrooms! We lit the huge log burner each evening (logs provided) as a little chilly, which was lovely and cosy. The garden is large, mature and beautiful, with plenty of outdoor seating plus a bbq and firepit, and we made full use of the hot tub. Enough space too for children to explore and play, very safe. Communication with Timo was great, he was patient with our questions and responded very quickly. An added bonus was having the lovely Luigi cook us a fabulous Italian meal, he was great fun and so patient and kind with our 7 year old whom he had as his “sous chef”! Ringwood forest, moors valley country park and go ape are easily accessible either walking out of the back gate or a short drive. Parking is plentiful and safe as gated. All in all, a fabulous weekend. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the property, although quirky, very clean and welcoming, is tired and in need of some tlc and maintenance in places.

Cycling tour
We found this a great location for our 3 day cycling tour of the 2 forests (10 cycling with 2 back up cars) We also used Luigi the resident chef on the Saturday night for our GALA dinner.
