"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hostel. The rooms still only have power points to charge and wooden style bunk beds, but everything was clean. The pillows were very soft and thin, but other bedding was warm and cosy. The bathroom was modern, though there is no shelving in showers. The kitchen is well equipped and has some staple items like oil, salt and herbs, but no tea towels or paper towels. "Staying in the hotel or the cottages must be nice, but at the hostel, the room was really small and not so clean. And if you are coming from the ferry, you'll have to walk a while with your luggage. It was really quiet in September, but it was nice."

"It was reasonable value for money and spacious. Added bonus to have a covered balcony and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, assisted with luggage up the stairs as no lift in my building. The room itself could have been a little bit cleaner. Found a dark long hair on my pillow, mine is short and blond. Cutlery and utensils a bit pick and mix but i was surprised to have any as the advert said you had to pay extra if staying a few says, so that was ok. Could do with clogh or paper...
