"The hotel was extremely clean and convenient in a quite safe location with very walkable route to street markets and Night Bazaar which began at 5pm nightly. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. The property also has a very full breakfast buffet and the sister hotel right next door “The Premier Empress” has a nightly buffet that was delicious. The breakfast buffet area latter serves lunch and dinner. There is a great message place steps away. The pool was very nice and not crowded but...

"The hotel was wonderful! The room and property was very clean! The location was wonderful to the mall and activities. If you are a light sleeper the airplanes overhead might keep waking up and the club next door also might keep you up. If can sleep through things then you will sleep great in the comfortable bed. The shower water in the morning was a little cold but at night it was perfect. "

"I've lived in Thailand for years, had a rental car on this trip and am familiar with Chiang Mai. I very much enjoyed our stay at Centara. Earlier reviews stated that this property was run down. It appears to me to have been renovated very well. Our rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Reception and restaurant/coffee shop were very nice (though over priced). "The property itself is nice and clean. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is a lot to do in the area if you’re willing to walk a bit. We walked about 30 mins from the hotel to the old town and wasn’t bad. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I will miss Chiang Mai. It’s a nice hotel in a convenient area if you don’t mind commuting a little. "
