The beautiful Shenandoah Sunset Cabin offers stunning views of the Massanutten Mountain range. The well appointed cabin is nestled in the woods in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Private access to the Shenandoah River is within a 3/4 mile.

Whether you are here for a romantic weekend, a family gathering or simply to get away from it all, once you visit Shenandoah Sunset Cabin you will never want to leave.

The Cabin is privately owned and family operated, offering you all the comforts of home.

The Shenandoah Sunset Cabin features 2 bedrooms, with Queen Beds, 2 Full Bathrooms with Office Space. The open concept Cabin features oak hardwood floors throughout, a fully equipped Kitchen, Living Room with 12 foot vaulted ceilings and a stucco Gas Log Fireplace.

Outside on the deck, gaze at the spectacular sunsets over Massanutten Mountain. From the deck, take the stairway down to the fire pit to enjoy a camping experience. Adjacent enjoy the view and the sounds of nature as you relax in the Hot Tub.

The Cabin is located 7 miles outside the quaint town of Luray, Virginia and within a 30 minute drive of many popular attractions such as Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns and Golf Course and horseback riding. For winter sports enthusiasts, Massanutten Ski Resort is a short 45 minute drive.

The Shenandoah Sunset Cabin is open year round for you to enjoy a quiet retreat in all of the seasons.

Amazing place.

Beautiful spot for a getaway!
My husband and I were looking for a quiet, relaxing spot we could runaway to for the weekend to recharge away from the kids and this place met all our expectations! Beautiful views, very clean, simple yet pretty decor and furniture, and the kitchen provided all the necessary items to be able to cook both nights. Beautiful spot! We have already been recommending it to family and friends!

Wonderful weekend retreat!
I had an amazing time staying at Shenandoah Sunset: the property felt very secluded and included a wonderful view. The interior of the cabin was very clean and nicely decorated and the kitchen felt up-to-date with the appliances and had a nice open concept leading into the living/dining areas. The bedrooms & bathrooms were also very clean, comfortable and inviting. I'll definitely looking to be coming back to Shenandoah Sunset for future retreats!

Basic house with no frills and the minimum but good view, quiet and nice jaccuzzi
This house is not a "sweet home", everything has been done the minimum way (decorations, size of the beds, no bed sheets and towels unless you pay supplement, no basics kitchen staples, few pots, pans,glasses etc...). Unfortunately the oven and the exterior BBQ were very dirty when we arrived. With no access to the laundry and the basement, the ratio value for your money was poor.

Road trip to the mountains
Tranquil getaway that is pet friendly! We enjoyed evenings at the fire pit and soaking in the hot tub under the stars. Kitchen was set up well & charcoal was available for the park-style grill. Four of us were quite comfortable & glad we brought extra camping chairs. Nice little area nearby to get in river. You have to park at the gate & walk the rest of the way with your cooler, chairs, floats, etc. We enjoyed chatting with some local folks & fisherman while there.

We had a great stay at Sunset Cabin! It was quiet, peaceful, clean and had amazing mountain views! It was easy to get to from DC, close to Luray Caverns and other fun activities, but felt like a world away from it all. I would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Andrea for a peaceful escape!

Perfect gateway cabin to Shenandoah National Park area and Blue Ridge Whiskey Wine Loop
We arrived in Rileysville for a girls' weekend getaway and had the best time staying at this cabin. It was situated between Luray and Front Royal and we found it to be the perfect jumping off point for all there was to do in the area. The cabin itself was clean and spacious and well laid out. We enjoyed the hot tub every night after a long day of hiking and exploring. It was set off the highway just far enough without feeling overly secluded. Andrea was a wonderful host. We never saw her but her communication was very good and check in was a breeze. We found some games in the closet and enjoyed those as well. My only suggestion was that she have a few more pots and pans and everyday spices available for cooking. Woud definitely stay here again with my friends if we decide to come back.

Sunset Cabin
Great experience, it’s in a very peaceful and quiet setting. Loved sitting on the deck listening to the birdsong. Cabin well equipped, even Tupperware for picnics. The best view is out the back of the property and hot tub is in prime location for enjoying the view. The deck at the back is literally just for the hot tub but there is a picnic table and chairs on the grass at the back with fire pit and grill. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We loved everything about our stay! It snowed in our way up to the cabin, so we woke up the next morning to a beautiful snowy view, but the day cleared up and the views were even more beautiful. Super comfortable and relaxing stay. Definitely planning our next visit!

Family girls weekend
The cabin was very clean and neat upon arrival. There were plenty of dishes, pans, etc. for our stay. The bedroom layout was perfect for our needs. We did have a little bit of an issue with seating for six in the living room and the tv visibility based on it's location in the corner and somewhat behind the fireplace. The fireplace was great and so was the hot tub. Perhaps better lighting outside could be a consideration for the future. But -- all in all it was a wonderful trip and lots of good memories were made! Thank you.

feels like home, only with an amazing view
We have been to this cabin twice now and have had a great time both visits. The house is clean and comfortable, with everything you need. The hot tub on the deck has the best view of the mountains, and the skies at night are incredible. The house is also in a good location, its a quick drive to Luray and good hiking spots. I would highly recommend.

Amazing Stay!!
Rented this property as a weekend getaway for me and the boyfriend, was not disappointed!! House has comfortable beds, was super clean and had nice furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed and even a grill outside, though we didn't use it. My favorite part was how private it was, the hot tub is great and right off the main living area. Really enjoyed the private view of the stars at night, would definitely rent this place again!! What a wonderful place to unwind and relax :)

A lovely getaway!
This cabin will quickly become our go-to location for a weekend getaway in the Shenandoah area. It was clean and easy to get to with a lovely view. (It's really nice to go to a place where you can see so many stars at night.) The fireplace kept the cabin quite cozy, and the hot tub worked well, too! The kitchen has the basics, but do really bring what you need for the weekend in terms of food or specialty cooking items; there are no condiments in the fridge for example. I think the instructions sent have an accurate list of what's provided (ground coffee, for example). The beds are comfortable, and the provided comforters are quite warm. While there isn't wi-fi, both our Verizon and AT&T cell phones had service (though they worked better in some parts of the house compared to others). Andrea is a communicative owner who wants to make sure you have you need for a great weekend. We've already booked our next visit!

Lovely view, perfect mountain weather
3 couples stayed here for a weekend getaway! We really enjoyed our time. The cabin has all of the necessities. The beds are comfortable. It is on the east side of the river, so about a 15 minute drive from town and a 30 minute drive from the Shenandoah River Outfitters. It is in a residential community, but we didn't encounter any of the neighbors really. Had nice but unseasonably cool evenings, so we enjoyed the firepit. A larger charcoal grill would have been nice, but we made the small charcoal grill work. We used the hot tub the first night, but when we opened the cover the next day, the water appeared dirty, so we didn't use it again. If they finish the basement of this home, it could really accommodate quite a crew of folks! Overall a nice value for what we paid. Andrea does a nice job with her rentals! OH yes, there wasn't WIFI in this cabin, or if there was, we couldn't get it to work or figure it out. Unfortunately, 1 of the ladies in our group, was having to work remotely for a couple hours and ended up having to use her phone's hot spot.

Great place!
We had a small group from California (BWI flight), State college pa and Richmond get together for a weekend in August. The place was very clean and picture perfect! We went tubing on Saturday and cooked all our meals at the house. Andrea communicated via email very well. Thanks so much for a great reunion with friends.
