The hotel is conveniently located—two minutes from the train station, a few minutes from the bus station and from the old town. Nearby, there are shopping centers, two huge supermarkets: Rimi Hyper and Stockmann. Check-in was pleasant, the receptionists were very friendly, as was all the hotel staff that I encountered later.
Unfortunately, the room (528) was extremely disappointing. There was no refrigerator or kettle in the room, though they can be found in other hotels of this brand. It was cold, the radiator did not warm the room even after being set to the maximum. I am very good with technology, but I could not turn on the air conditioner for heating. Probably, the hotel has problems with technical staff, since they do not repair what is broken. The walls in the toilet are shabby, and, where they tried to paint over the peeling places, they did it with paint of a completely different tone, and it looks ugly. The toilet paper holder is broken, so the roll of paper was constantly falling onto the floor. The door also needs repair. There were long hairs on the floor, and the rooms are not cleaned every day.
After a walk on September 26, I returned to the hotel at about 9 pm, there was an empty bottle of Coca-Cola on the floor in the elevator. Well, the next morning, when I checked out, the bottle was still there (photo taken at 08:18 on September 27), unbelievable!
The breakfast was decent for a hotel of that level: a good selection of food, everything was quite tasty.
