"My family of 5 (3 kids, 2 adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Concarneau at this property. The location is ideal. We enjoyed walking to the quick ferry to the walled part of the city. It was nice to be so close but to return to the quiet neighborhood that the home is in. The back of the living room opens up (triple doors) to the view of the harbor. "Disappointed. We were not aware that the owners had four large, boisterous dogs one of which was very aggressive. The facilities were basic. We were surprised that we had to light an antiquated boiler each time in order to obtain hot water. There was no WiFi connection. Although the property was described as being in Concarneau, it was some distance from the town. There was no information provided as to how to locate the property apart from a small map which was far from adequate. Luckily, the...

"Es waren 2 erholsame (leider zu kurze) Urlaubswochen. Dazu passte das modrn ausgestattete Ferienhaus perfekt. Es war nicht weit zum Hafen und zu den Stränden. Die Vermietrin war jederzeit bereit, unsere Fragen in der Zeit zu beantworten. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und wir können das Haus allen empfehlen, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen. Vielen Dank noch einmal Gerlind."

"Was greeted by the owners who were very informative. House is lovely and spotless. A cost of €15 for each bed is a little excessive, €5 per towel is expensive. We had to buy hand soap and tea towels as these were not supplied (thought the would be)! Garden is massive and we had full use of bicycles, surfboards and garden toys. Great place to stay although the stairs are polished which makes them slippy (one of our party fell down the bottom few on day of departure) . Apart from the few negatives...

"Comfortable accommodation, with easy access to the small ferry which takes you across to the Old Town. Well equipped kitchen although a good choice of restaurants in the town itself. Good links to routes to a range of picturesque beaches. Overall, an excellent break!"

"The house is absolutely beautiful and space inside perfect for our group of 12. The garden and pool are also ideal. However the noise, which was by no means excessive for 6 kids age 10 and under having fun in a pool, was a problem for the close proximity of the neighbours which was a shame."
