Our dramatic 2.7 acre mountain lot and cabin is ready for adventurous Colorado vacationers. We purchased this property, adjacent to ours, so we could renovate the old cabin and turn it into the perfect vacation home so others can experience this amazing corner of Colorado.
This property offers everything travelers come to Colorado to enjoy; amazing views of the Cimarron and Sneffles ranges, a beautiful (seasonal) mountain stream, lush aspen and ponderosa trees, meadows and end of the road seclusion.
This home offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, separate den/sitting area that opens to a deck, a living room, kitchen and dining room that walks out to another deck. Truly amazing views from every room.
*Getting Here* if youre flying, Montrose airport is only 1 hr away, Grand Junction is 2 hrs and Denver is 6.5 -7 hrs. Need a car? We offer for rent a beatiful loaded 4 dr. Jeep Rubicon with a power "One Touch" convertable top. A great way to tour this amazing area.

This cabin is all that was advertised and more! The hosts were awesome and the cabin is perfect for a private getaway. The hosts were great and the location was secluded, but close enough to town for necessities or dinner. Would stay again!

best cabin in Colorado
This is a 5 star cabin. Every single window has an awesome view. We enjoyed our stay. It was fun to use the hot tub and sauna. The area was peaceful and quiet. Our first night there we were awoken by a wild turkey and we were visited daily by the local deer. We did practice our snow shoeing on the property and the town of ridgeway is a lovely quiet mountain town. We loved it. The owner responds quickly with any problems. The only thing we would suggest to improve the property would be to add diming switches to the bathrooms as the lights are bright at night which I only mention because really that is the only feedback as this is best VRBO we have stayed in. We loved playing with the record player. We had everything we needed on site and felt at home. We appreciate that the owners obviously put a lot of thought and work into the rental property, and it shows. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Rick and Shannon for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

Beautiful Quiet Cabin
This cabin is amazing! My wife and I stayed here the weekend we got married, it’s beautiful quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for a quiet get away to escape reality, this is it. Rick is on top of messaging you as well, phenomenal location, amazing host, beautiful views and a wonderful time!

Great private cabin with a view and hottub
This is a great property for a quiet base camp to explore the ridgway/ouray area. Cabin is very nice and comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. It also has an amazing view and hot tub. It is a little drive up the mountain but still just a few minutes from town. Very quiet and peaceful. We saw deer, a mountain lion, and about a million chipmunks in the yard. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the ridgway area!

Great views and nice house. We enjoyed our stay and property has everything you need. Great communication with owners and very secluded. It is about a 20 min ride from town though so make sure you stop for anything you need before making your way to the house.

My husband and I wanted a getaway for our honeymoon in the mountains and that is exactly what we got. The home was absolutely stunning, tucked away from town with incredible views! The owners were great and was very accommodating to us. Gave us pointers of what is worth doing while we were there and just all around great people. We will most definitely be making this home a place that we come back and visit!

Magnificent views in a 5 🌟 cabin
Driving up to the cabin you are facing the most beautiful snowy mountain peaks! Walking in, there is a beautiful leather sectional with vintage vibes, big ottoman, huge telescoping tv and huge windows that face the mountains. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic spices, pots, pans, cooking utensils, tupperware, etc. There is a dishwasher with lots of dishwashing tablets and a huge fridge/freezer. The sitting room has a beautiful blue velvet couch with a record player and lots of fun records to enjoy! There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, my husband and I used them both as a dressing room/our own bathroom. There is a laundry room with plenty of detergent and dryer sheets and new, easy to use washer and dryer. The best part was the private cedar sauna and hot tub at the end of the wrap around deck. We used both daily and especially loved soaking under the stars!! With the light ordnance you can actually see the milky way, and shooting stars!! It snowed a few inches mutiple days when we stayed in November turning the cabin into a scene out of a Christmas movie. The owners will not bother you one bit, but we were so happy we texted Rick to ask if we could meet them. They came by and are so friendly, you can tell they know how special this place is and are proud to share it with bookers. This cabin is truly magnificent and we cannot wait to come back!! Would give it 10 stars if we could!

Extremely Peaceful and Beautiful
This house is in an excellent location. You have the privacy and seclusion that most would want in a mountain getaway, but its only a 15-20 min drive back into Ridgeway for anything you may need and only 45 mins to an hour back to Telluride, Montrose, and Ouray for any activities you may want to do.

We both had an amazing time. The hot tub was a blast, especially in the snow! The home was clean and very welcoming. We enjoyed driving into town and ate breakfast at Kate’s. Ouray was a nice drive and good place to visit for the day as well.
