The Creekside Hideaway is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 baths waterfront Property located on the St. Jeromes Creek. Come and enjoy a restful stay with us! This home has everything you need---full kitchen,2.5baths,laundry facilities, and a lovely living area with a gas fireplace for those cool evenings. This home has 4 indoor smart TVs and wifi plus a step down Bunk room with 2 queen futons, twin bunk beds and a full size bunk bed for extra sleeping accommodations. There is a new pier for crabbing and sunning plus fishing trips can be arranged. There is a docking space available should you have a boat. A canoe and 3 kayaks and launch platform are available on site. Also there is an outdoor firepit , gas grill, large picnic table plus an outdoor shower. This location is perfect for parties and other limited capacity (50 attendees or less) events. St. Mary's County is a lovely place to visit for rest and adventure. Restaurants, Marinas, Historic St. Mary's City, St. Mary's College, Historic Leonardtown and Solomons Island are just a short drive away. You will find something here for every interest. The property has been recently refreshed.

Beautiful and Serene!
Enjoyed our mini vacation at Creekside Getaway, Thank you Ray for being a wonderful host and allowing us to stay at your house. House offers plenty of room, very clean, a lot of though in providing items in the house and outside to make our stay very comfortable. Grounds are beautiful, spacious, very quiet, had the riverfront all to ourselves. Enjoyed kayaking seeing plenty of nature. A great stay and highly recommended!

Groomsmen stayed here for wedding. Great experience in a beautiful location. Swimming and kayaking right out the back door. Owners were very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend this beautiful spot.

For a wonderful vacation. If you are looking for a quite place, with amazing views, enough space to have a little family gathering and awesome hosts….this is the place for you. Super clean and away from all the noise of the modern world. Dog friendly!

Lovely Deck and Property
We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at this lovely property. We made good use of the fire pit and our gracious hosts kept the wood pile well stocked! We had dinner on the deck each evening where the view is spectacular. Would definitely recommend!!

DESTINATION - VACATION OASIS
Perfect place to kayak, canoe, fish, relax in the adirondack chairs, have s'mores around the fire pit. the property owners are only a phone call away you need anything (i.e., more firewood). Ray and Mary have a beautiful VRBO home for you to enjoy + relax. Thank you for this mini vacation retreat for the four of us!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean, neat, well equipped. I wish we had brought more of the family and could stay longer and do some kayaking and canoeing! What we did not account for was our lab running over to Ray's place and not wanting to get back! But they were more than kind and helpful. We would love to go back.

A quiet, beautiful place away from the hustle
My family and I were so relaxed in this beautiful home by the river. The house was extremely comfortable and welcoming. The dock was easy to get to and a great place to fish and crab. We really loved the kayaks and the kayak launch made it so easy to use. We loved the day getaways that were minutes away, St Marys city, Point lookout State park and the Naval Museum. But the feeling of peace and relaxation just cant be beat.

A little slice of heaven!
An absolutely beautiful and secluded spot ! Ray and Mary are the ultimate hosts who are incredibly gracious. Ray even drove us to get crab cakes from a local spot we would have never known about! Can't think of a better way to end a day than sitting on the deck overlooking the water or around the fire pit. Not having to rent kayaks was a huge bonus! Can't wait to return!

Peaceful respite
The house is situated on a beautiful creek of the Chesapeake Bay - The real feel of Southern Maryland - boats coming and going for fishing and oystering and crop fields sloping to the water. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful. There is a small shop nearby to pick up last minute things. The house has a great setup to host small gatherings as we did for Christmas. We had two families with 9 kids and they had space to play and run. Even got to kayak and have a marshmellow roast over the fire pit. Needless to say we had a blast!

Amazing View
We had amazing weather and enjoyed being outside. Had some amazing sunsets and enjoyed the fire pit too. Ray and Mary were very accommodating and such nice people. My 1 and only complaint is that they board dogs and being it was so nice out there were dogs tethered out there all day and it made it hard to just relax and read with their incessant barking. Ray did his best to quiet them down so a big thank you for that.

Fabulous stay by the water near St. Mary's
We had wonderful weekend at Creekside Hideaway. The house is very spacious and lovely. We had everything we needed and more. Ray and Mary are delightful owners. Ray greeted us and showed us around the property. He made sure we had everything we needed and even had suggestions on where to eat close by. The house is very easy to get to and close to St. Mary's College. It's about 20 minutes from California/Leonardtown which has all the major stores/restaurants. We will definitely be staying here every time we visit our daughter at college. Highly recommend!

Such a great 3 day weekend. So close to St Mary’s College! Owners provided all that was needed and more! Firewood for the fire pit, gas grill, and bottle of wine were greatly appreciated! Lots of space. Outdoor shower! Deck with a great view and gorgeous breezes! Owners so kind and thoughtful. We would love to return to the property! Thanks so much!

Dual temperature zone home perfect for our group
We thoroughly enjoyed the total relaxation this home provided. The house layout, especially the den with its own in-room air conditioner, was perfect for our group. There is a ramp going up to the deck making access easy for the mobility impaired. The owners were so nice, providing helpful hints for places to visit. We enjoyed watching Ray and his dogs practice dock jumping. There's a Dollar General, a hardware store and a locally-owned market/grill less than a mile away that serves delicious food. We tried the pizza, grilled chicken sandwiches and burgers and they were all incredible. We also enjoyed the historical sites in the area. The owners didn't seem like landlords; they were more like the neighbors/friends you've known your whole life.

The best place to stay in Southern Maryland!!
We cannot express how wonderful and awesome this property is - the location, views and especially the folks who own this property. We have been to many places before but Creekside Hideaway is the best of all. The owners were very kind and arranged for a boating trip and crabs even before we arrived. Their two dock jumping labs were added bonus to our 3 year old boy. The open land around the property allowed us to play football. There are a bunch of canoes for anyone who wants to go for a ride in the water and they even have life vests. The property has some outdoor games in place such as corn holes. We were a group of 8 and we were fully accommodated for 3 days. I highly recommend this place for anyone with kids or pets. You will be thrilled.
