"Lovely hotel sat overlooking Kandy and a sanctuary away from the business of elsewhere. As per other reviews, the road up is quite steep and winding but all of the drivers we had were very careful - use the Pick me app (Sri Lankan Uber) and it will cost about £1.50 in a tuk tuk and £2.50 in a taxi We found the staff to be exceptional - from the very moment you arrive in reception the whole team make you feel so welcome …special mentions to Gobi who was super helpful and Oliver and Olivia who...

"Very expensive stay for not much facilities. Staff barely able to understand requests. No timely answers for queries before we arrived at the property. Staff do not go out of the way to make your experience pleasant at all. Breakfast was below average. For the expensive pricing, you would expect a better spread, but no. "Very nice room and overall hotel was extremely clean. Friendly staff and great level of service. My only negative (from a foreigner) would be the food - it was very average/below average, but affordable. They did upgrade our room free of charge when our hot water didn’t work and they were very kind and accommodating when I asked for late check out (we left very late and they didn’t charge any extra for it) they also helped arrange taxi rides at the front desk. Overall, very good stay 👍"
