"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

The house is cosy and confy , jacqueline was a attentionated host, the house was decorated for christmas and she baked some delicious biscuit for ourself and our dog.the location is perfecg for visiting all the stunning village around and their christmas market. A lovely area surrended by montain and nature. We strongly recommand."

Obwohl es nicht nötig war, fanden wir es sehr aufmerksam. Das Haus ist Davids Elternhaus (sein Vater hieß Tony, daher "chez Tony"), es ist groß und sowohl schön als auch gut ausgestattet. "This has been a most appealing house in which to enjoy a holiday. The main living room is spacious and airy, and furnished with style and panache. It opens on to a secluded terrace for al fresco dining. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could need for cooking your own meals. It looks out on to a courtyard, which is shared with neighbours. Upstairs are large bedrooms with comfortable beds and splendid views across the compact town and into the Voges mountains and the nearby woods...

"This a a truly delightful stay. We were here during the Christmas week with our two boys. The house is less than five minutes walk from the Eguisheim village center and it was a very convenient place and with all the amenities for a relaxing stay. This area is also a good base to visit other parts of Alsace and the Black Forest region of Germany and even parts of Switzerland such as Interlaken. "

"This is a charming little house with old bones and modern comforts (plumbing, windows, cooktop). You can hear the village church bells and the swifts that nest in the eaves. The hosts are lovely people who gave good advice on the local area. Bear in mind that almost everything is closed on Sundays and business hours are more limited than you may be used to. "At first the owner could not meet us the agreed at check-in time. We had to protest in order to check-in as planned. The we were criticised for the state of the property, by mail after we had left , - the owner were not present at check-out time. We had only slept, eaten breakfast and showered."
