"The staff were very helpful and the rooms very clean. They seemed to have been recently renovated. The hotel was situated close to the centre of town. However, the area around the hotel seemed dirty and there were many vacant shops etc. "

"The staff were excellent. Restaurant was great. But, No provision to make a coffee in the room or on the premises was annoying as it was very difficult to find anything open in the village to get a coffee. Shower head was stable and water flooded the floor. Also, most of the people in the hotel were elderly and getting over a steep bath to have a shower is a health hazard."

"It was very unique being on the sixth floor, restaurant was beautiful, food and service excellent. Our room was perfect a d superclean, just had a very strong odor of either cleaning agent or spraying for something? That took away from the otherwise great room."

"easy access from main railway station, cheerful efficient check in with lots of local information and advice on restaurants. refurbished hotel with newly decorated room, corridors and public areas. breakfast was wonderful- quality of a 5 star - thoroughly recommended "
