I liked the the location and the Hotel uniqueness.Although it was old it was clean and safe and close to all kinds of shopping and a great Park. I would stay there again .

This is a simple spot in a super charming little town. The hotel itself is quite basic and old school per-say but it was evident there had been some more recent face-lift renovations within the rooms. The visionary in me could see so much more potential giving it a more boutique hotel vibe, that would bring out its historic charm. But first thing first would be more regular maintenance of broken bits - (stair railing, mould in grout, older toilets that would run etc).

I didnt feel safe in the parking lot. It is old, and should have renovations. The front desk is through a window to the liquor store. On the end of the building is a pub. We had to climb major stairs to get up to the rooms. The room itself had chair rails ripped off... it wasn't pretty.

We called for a late check in and were given zero details other than that is fine.. flight was delayed and by the time he could get a cab it was almost 11, i called the hotel 13 times from 10:30 pm to 11 to try to find out if he could still check in. No one answered.. we finally decided to book a new room elsewhere so he had somewhere to stay. After calling the following day im now informed of late check in procedures neglected to be told to us the prior day... First day staff we spoke to wasnt very friendly, the staff member we spoke to today was very nice and apologetic, helpful. Hopefully management gets back to us.

It’s located to the beautiful Garry Point park, with its spectacular sunsets. It’s quiet, no traffic, no sirens. Steveston village presents numerous options for dining. You don’t need a taxi if you stay in this hotel because the buses are running from 5am till 1am every day and connect you to Canada line (Airport or Vancouver downtown). It’s a gem!
