A Clean, Safe, House full of steel balls & vintage game consoles
Thank you for your interest in staying at my place. House was built in 1959 and I have kept everything that works from that era. It's like going back in time. Oven, Dishwasher, some light switches, bath tub, and vanity are original. Three bedrooms, 1.5 Baths. Each bedroom has a vintage game console. Plenty of vintage, workable pinball machines and vintage handheld games throughout the house. The place is yours to use. Also has a patio for outdoor grilling. Located near the lakeside community with local restaurants, shops, and breweries. Five minutes from the Amtrak Station. Right off I-64 and near I-64 & I95 interchange.

I brought a few of my crew members to Richmond for a training class and needed a large enough place for one night to house them. This place was perfect!! The pinball machines kept them entertained throughout the evening and the large backyard was an awesome area to hang out in the perfect weather. The place was clean and stocked with many amenities for the guests. The resident cat "Kat" was overloaded with love and attention. Robert is a great host and communicative with any inquires. Highly recommend this place!!
My kids and I were to spend a night in Richmond and wanted something with a central location without being right in the city. This proved to be perfect. My kids thought the pinball machines were really fun and the rest of the house has lots of nostaglic books, magazines and games to sort through. Pete was a generous host and it was very helpful to be able to make a simple breakfast and coffee without leaving the premises. I would definitely consider again if we are in the area again.
While we had NO chance in getting high scores in the pinball machines, we had a blast trying. Property owner was very available for any needs we had and made his home feel like ours. Thanks so much!
Pinball Pete's is a unique property. Looking for a modern spacious house...well keep looking then. But if you want to have fun, feel like you are home, and have a miriad of collectables to peruse, this is your place. Entertainment for all ages...it is like a museum of sorts...while pinball is the main theme, there are various video game consoles in each bedroom, noteworthy artwork, books, dvds, collectables, and much more. Pete's hospitality (bloody mary anyone? Local craft beer?) Is the theme of this eclectic property. Frat house or cozy home? Pack your quarters and hunker down with your loved ones to find out.
My daughter & her husband had just moved from Denver to Virginia. With Covid & a 2 day drive from Alabama to Denver, we hadn’t been able to get together in 2 years. I rented this house & we all stayed together for a week. We didn’t hardly leave the house. Everyone played on the pinball machines. My husband was obsessed with the Elvira one. That was everyone’s favorite. The location was close to grocery stores and food delivery was available. The neighborhood was quite & safe. We were quite content to stay snuggled in and enjoy each other. Robert was a great host. We would love to stay there again.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Robert was very responsive and the place is very cool. Love all the pinball machines - we played all night. We’ll definitely be staying there again!
We were in town for a youth soccer tournament at the River City SportsPlex and this house was perfect for us. The pinball machines and other games kept the kids and adults entertained when we weren't on the soccer fields.
Pinball Pete's was the perfect stop on our way to Hatteras NC. The kids and adults loved the pinball machines, relics, and ofcourse the craft beers available. Place was clean, communication was great and location was perfect. Highly recommend
Former Richmond residents, we were home for a visit with family for a week. We. Hose this property due to its location as it was close to our family. Robert, the host, was very accommodating and readily available via text or phone to assist with any questions or needs. We had so much fun playing the pinball machines and the kids were able to play some older board games scattered throughout the home. The beds were comfortable. I might recommend bringing along your own fire stick or Roku if you aren’t familiar with Android box because I had a very difficult time getting any of the apps to work and Tv’s are older so not set up as smart TVs. This was more of an issue for my kids who lost interest in the pinball machines pretty quickly. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay. We enjoyed the 50cent local beers out on the patio, and were thankful for the staples left in the pantry.
We would certainly return to pinball Petes in the future-I have a high score to beat on Elvira!!
It was fun playing all of the old machines. We realize it's hard to keep the old machines running perfectly all the time, but overall, we enjoyed it. House was clean. Good experience
Was a great lay-over on our way to the Outerbanks!
Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, the house had plenty of space for 6 adults. The kids eye's walking into the house and seeing the pinball machines (I hadn't told them about them) was priceless! It was nice to have a stocked kitchen and freedom to use, whatever we needed. I have already recommended this place to friends and would consider staying again in the future.
This was such a fantastic diversion from our normal. The place was clean and entertaining and a perfect stopover during a 16 hour road trip. The 50 cent IPAs made me happy. Highly recommend.
The whole family (kids age 8 & 13) found plenty of entertainment in this house. We all played lots of pinball, video games and watched a movie. Everyone enjoyed their own bedroom and slept well. Lots of food and snacks included, and the owner even stocked the soda machine with local beers for $0.50! Considering we were there during an ice storm, we really didn't need to leave the house for anything (we did bring a few groceries with us) and had a great time! We did venture out to the science museum, which was fairly close by, as are numerous other attractions.
Awesome home. Very cozy and comfortable. We had a blast playing the games. Robert was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Will stay again soon, for sure!
