"This hotel was a great place to stay. When I booked it as a quick stopping point on our trip I was unaware of the history of the property. After getting to the property and doing research on it I was even more pleased with it. I love old buildings and historic places, so it was a great opportunity to stay in a place like this. We arrived after hours and were confused at first about how to get in, but called the number in the listing and staff answered right away and told us exactly where to go and met us with our room keys. The room was clean and simple, but just what we needed. Being able to walk around the property and see the outside of the old buildings the next morning was a great perk for me. I would recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back and stay again. "
