"The cottage was easy to find in a quiet village between the coast and the Picos de Europa. It's well laid out and been thoughtfully modernised. We ate out in the evenings but I think cooking a big meal there would be a challenge in the small kitchen area. The bed was large, comfortable and quiet and the en suite was small but perfectly functional. Jose the owner was very friendly and helpful. There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever!
