"Quaint little cottage in the lovely quiet hamlet of Cwm Penmachno. There are amazing views from the cottage across the valley. We went for a couple of great walks up the disused quarry, just up the road. Once at the top of this walk there are fantastic views of the valley. "We had a great time at this property. The five properties gave us space to be together and still have our own space to retreat to when needed. It was a very wet weekend in Wales but we made the most of it. The Pool and Grove cottages and The Gallery were a bit tricky to keep warm as you needed to keep the log burners going and use electric heaters upstairs. "A wonderful and spacious stone house with exceptional facilities especially in the kitchen. All the bedrooms has comfortable beddings and with enough room for 8 adults and 4 children. We definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Bala in North Wales for its facilities and location. "

The layout with most of the accommodation and living space upstairs allowed us to have a separate space for our family one of which has an infant to have separate space downstairs next to the games room. The property need a few maintenance issues dealing with including one of the beds needing a repair and the sofa bed upholstery needing renewal to make it more comfortable to sit on. "Beautifully set out and accessible too, which was important for us as a first trip away after my partner suffered a stroke. The host was available to answer questions and also allowed us to leave at our leisure which made such a difference when showering/dressing needs extra time. Garden was a beautiful spot for breakfast in the November sun."

"Have stayed here before and will stay here again. Great experience from checking in to checking out. Staff are friendly, helpful and generally lovely. Rooms are clean, well decorated and furnished. Shower is spacious and powerful. Breakfast is included and there are a good number of options, excellent! A great bonus is the free parking in a secure car park. I have nothing negative to say, very happy 😊 "
