"Very convenient location for easy travel. Property well described but it is tucked in beside a disused club house. Car parking a bit hit and miss but wasn't a problem. Inside was clean but this was a bit tarnished by a very smelly cigarette bin right beside the front door and the smell permeated the whole house. Beds were good, facilities were good."

"Lovely cottage but on a noisy road. Beautiful garden. Everything we needed including food essentials on arrival. Bonus to be able to park off road at the end of the garden. What puts us off staying again however was the bedding. Did not smell clean and fresh, pillows old, flat and stained, duvets the same. No smell of fresh laundry. We bought some pillows at Tesco on the first day as we didn't want to use those supplied."

"Relaxing family stay with our two elderly chocolate Labradors. The accommodation is excellent. Lots of kitchen equipment. Plenty of hot water for the morning showers. Games and jigsaws supplied in the living room The alpaca was a welcome addition. All in all a relaxing stay. Would recommend."

Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. Could do with a proper electric one to be honest. Bathroom bin not emptied from previous occupier. No wifi and phone signal not great. Not always a...

As it was a late booking, and we had 2 of my friends who had mobility problems, they found the steep stairs a challenge, especially the entrance to the top of the staircase. "A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."
