Surrounded by hiking trails and near Mount Hood’s shops and restaurants, this cabin has everything you need. Unwind in this stylish abode. Help yourself to the books, puzzles, and record player available for guests to enjoy. When hunger strikes, the well-appointed kitchen is at your disposal for any cooking needs you have. Dine together at the bar or at the table for four by the window. Heat up the wood stove for added ambiance and warmth.

Outside, kick back on the deck and read a book while listening to sounds of the nearby creek. Gather logs for the firepit and roast s’mores while swapping ghost stories. At night, rest your head in the bedroom, or in the loft where an additional bed resides.

Great getaway
Had a fantastic time. The cabin is decorated great and enjoyed the record player and puzzles. The stream behind the cabin was beautiful and very tranquil to listen to the running water. Would definitely come back.

Great place to escape
It's a great place to get away from everything and just relax. No tv and limited cell service but WIFi is available to keep in touch as needed. The property is very nice, well-heated in the cold, and big enough for 2 to be very comfortable. I would recommend this property without hesitation. The only 2 minor downsides are an overly soft/memory foam mattress and one home across the creek that has lots of lights that detracts a little from the secluded feel of the property.

The Sweetest Retreat
I couldn’t have loved this place more. It was absolutely perfect for my solo retreat. The cub had everything I needed for a peaceful stay. I was utterly cozy reading by the fire for hours and loved the babbling creek and gorgeous views out the window. It was a great springboard for some awesome Hood hikes too. Already planning my next stay. Thank you!!!

So beautiful
This is a very magical and beautiful cabin. The kids loved the loft. The only thing were the neighbors dogs barked anytime we were outside. I understand that is nothing that can be controles but it does affect the whole peace of it all if that is what you are going for.

Cute cozy place. Loved the sound of the creek. However the neighbors across the creek had dogs that barked all day long, a noisy generator, and lots of lights on at night. Because of this we did not have the relaxing stay we were hoping for. I would not book agian.

Relaxing stay
We had a great stay in this adorable cabin. It's tucked away in the woods along a stream. The view out the windows is beautiful! Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the outside.

Cute little cabin in the woods, overlooking a beautiful creek. Favorite thing about this property is being able to sit outside and listen to the sounds of the creek. Very peaceful retreat with several restaurant options within a 10-15 minute drive.

Such a lovely, quiet, tucked-away place with a beautiful year-round creek right off the back porch! The cabin was tastefully decorated, clean, and well-stocked; I especially enjoyed the mushroom decor! Hope to return soon!

Cabin is in a very quiet community nestled in huge pine trees. Very well equipped with necessities like towels, pots pans, dishes toiletries etc. I asked before we arrived if there were spices , salt &pepper and was told no. Believe me, there is enough salt and pepper to last a few years!! :) I love that past tenants leave behind things like tea, oil, coffee etc. the gas grill did not work very well and we did not use it. One downfall. The fire pit was great right next to the stream! Beds are comfortable and clean. They kept it dry with de humidifiers etc We loved it. Great place to get away and we would definitely go back. Hiking very close to the area.

Best place to have a quiet retreat!
The Bear Cub was the perfect setting for some rest and relaxation! The record player kept us company alongside the sounds of the creek right out the back door. The top notch attention to detail from the French press to the pots/pans to the pillows made the stay even more enjoyable. Also, super close to town if you need to run in for any additional supplies or a quick bite to eat. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
