Very good location and lovely villa
The villa was excellent, spacious and well-equipped (except for one shower-room extractor fan that didn’t work). Great location with lovely views of Vlycha Beach. Easy (car or bus) access to a good supermarket and to Lindos village. It’s a shame there is no footpath down to the beach as the car is required to get to the excellent Lindian restaurant.
On arrival the keys were easy to access and Giorgios was available on the phone, but we never got to see him in person during the week, despite expecting to. The pool was serviced regularly and the linen changed twice during the week. There was no information provided regarding waste disposal, and the single bin up by the parking area was often full to bursting.
I cannot say the kitchen and the utensils were spotless on our arrival and there was a bit of an ant problem.
On the fourth evening, we were surprised to have a family arrive saying they were booked for our villa that night! In fact it was an error by an agency other than HomeAway and it was quickly resolved as they were accommodated in the next door villa.
Overall it was a lovely place to spend a week and the positives easily outweighed the negatives. I do think that for £5,000 a little more attention to detail is to be expected.
