"Two families traveling together found this home to be the perfect home base from which to up and down the Rhine to see castles, castles, vineyards, and more castles. This hillside house was very comfortable, featured a lovely terrace surrounded by grapevines. Situated in the small country village of Sauerthal if felt as though our visit brought the most excitement the townsfolk had seen in ages. This is a perfect location for visiting Rhineland if you want a quiet, rustic, authentic experience."

Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass eines der King-/Queensbett-Zimmer fehlte und damit verbunden ein ganzes Zimmer. Deshalb reiste leider einer unserer Freund ab. Was sehr schade war. "Neighborhood in Mainz was delightful! Sleeping arrangements as advertised - two bedrooms which sleep 2 each on 2nd floor, and one bedroom with other beds/futons on top floor. Kitchen was a bit underequipped compared to our other European VRBO experiences - no vegetable peeler, no saucepans smaller than multiple gallon, very minimal spices. Kitchen not really equipped to cook. Backyard is NOT AS ADVERTISED - overgrown and unkempt waist high grass made it unusable except patio and table directly...
