Overview of Daisy...

Daisy is one of a collection of six dog friendly lodges with hot tubs in Wales's unspoilt countryside. Daisy Pod has an enclosed garden, two king sized bedrooms, two sofas and a fully fitted kitchen.

Daisy Pod makes a comfortable base from which to explore on foot, by bike or by car. With World-class scenery all around you and Red Kites flying overhead. From Daisy Pod you can walk to the Gilfach Nature Reserve and beyond to the Marteg River. The famous Elan Valley is a stones throw away, and former home to the Romantic poet Shelley.

Daisy is one of six homely Glamping Pods with hot tubs near Rhayader. Set in the little farming village of Saint Harmon.

Up to 4 guests can enjoy a comfy holiday with two king sized bedrooms, one converting to a twin bedroom if you wish.

You can easily prepare a feast in the fully fitted kitchen! With oven, microwave and dishwasher set beneath an elegant marble worktop. Daisy Pod has been designed with storage solutions to keep your space clear and tidy. Relax after a day out on the two sofas and catch up with your favourite TV series. Or gaze out to see your dog snoozing or sniffing in your private fenced garden!

Get ready for an evening out in the modern shower room, with corner shower and flushing toilet. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants to tempt you, although it may be difficult to leave your private garden!

Enjoy a relaxing hot tub break in Wales's fresh air and idyllic scenery here at Daisy Pod. Let the heat of the bubbles unwind the stresses of living life by the clock. Admire the fantastic rural views of Mid Wales, with the added peace of mind that the fenced private garden gives you. A must for any dog friendly glamping pod or family holiday in Wales, or anywhere else! Relax with a good read on the outdoor furniture or in the hot tub, or toast marshmallows over the firepit. Then stargaze under the famously dark skies.

This location is amongst the best places to stay in Wales with a dog! Why not bring the pack and socialise with friends and family. The entire site plus the cottage can sleep up to 41 people.

Amazing
Really enjoyed our stay at ‘daisy’ The location was perfect, so peaceful and plenty to do within a short drive. Had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Lamb and Flag in Rhayader. The pod has everything you can ask for. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying again.

Lovely place!
Lovely place, beautiful Welsh countryside. Accommodation was perfect, lovely and warm inside which is what we needed getting out of the hot tub on a snowy evening. Our dog enjoyed running around the garden which was enclosed. Just perfect, walking distance to the local village, everything was easy and we felt very welcomed! We will come again for sure! Thank you hosts.

Perfect weekend trip
Beautiful cabin, super clean and comfortable. Hot tub and the views were perfect. I loved the enclosed garden for my dog. Cabin had everything we needed for cooking our own food. Dishwasher was a lovely added bonus! Would 100% recommend and return! Good value for money split between the 4 of us that went!

Amazing stay
We really enjoyed our stay in the Daisy pod. We’ve told all our friends and family about it. Beautifully designed and equipped with everything we needed. Our only recommendation would be to have a king bed rather than a double. Size wise it maybe too tight but that’s was our only thought. The bedding was so soft which was lovely! Thank you

Totally unexpected!
My girlfriend had been trying to convince me to stay in a clamping pod for over a year and finally I buckled. I thought it would be a small cold shed but I was very wrong. This is basically a posh hobbit house. The kitchen, furniture and decoration is very high end. Great location 5 mins drive from nearest town. Would 100% stay again!

Excellent stay lovely chilled out few days
Daisy glamping pod was amazing and just what we needed for a few days relaxing. The pod has everything you need and more. All fixtures and fittings are to a high standard, full kitchen with all appliances needed, lots of plug sockets and excellent WiFi (needed with 2 teenagers). Hot tub is a great addition. The fenced off garden meant the dog could be out safe in our knowledge he couldn't escape. The welcome pack is a lovely idea meaning you don't need to worry about bringing the small things such as dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. The local town is a short drive away where to you can pick up anything extra needed. There are several nice walks and visits to dam's that can be reached which add to the magic of your stay. Definitely will be returning.

Beautiful pods
It was our first stay at the Daisy pod and we absolutely loved it here. The pods are in a beautiful location and there is something for everyone. There are so many beautiful walks near by which our dogs loved, there’s a park a stone through away for children and the hot tub was fantastic. The pods are so well equipped and clean, we throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the future.

Mini break
Had a lovey couple of days break, the pod is beautiful and enjoyed the hot tub. Stunning location, great it is dog friendly and the garden area was enclosed so my dog could wonder freely. However I missed the site entrance from the main road but a quick call to the owner soon sorted locating the site, much appreciated for them being on hand for directions. Explored the local area recommend the Elan valley and the red kite feeding station- gigrin. Would recommend a stay here and love to return one day.

A great staycation - would recommended
We stayed at Daisy for 2 nights, was a wonderful staycation for our family. Great location, only a short drive into town, the property was very clean when we arrived. Managed to get some time in the hot tub and see the northern lights! Would definitely go back

A perfect Dog Friendly escape to the country break!
We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend! The pod has our key box so no need to check in, you’re given the code before you arrive via email. We didn’t really speak to anyone at the site! The garden was fully secure all round so the ease of our dog being able to be let out in the garden without a worry of him running off was so reassuring. The hot tub was perfect, hot, clean and they checked on it every day. There was a fire pit provided and logs/kindlings/lighters were able to be purchased for £10 from the honesty shop. The pod was big and included a TV, dining table, two small sofas and a fully fitted kitchen with pretty much everything you needed! The only thing we found wasn’t there that would have been useful was foil and salt & pepper. The bed was fairly comfortable- a bit difficult to get in and out of the slanted roof side of the bed. There was a full length mirror, dressing table and stool, shelves and under bed storage in both rooms. The bathroom was clean and the shower was really good quality. Only thing we would say is the toilet seat dips in towards the toilet bowl so was quite uncomfortable! We couldn’t really figure out the heating but it was pretty warm during our stay and if we got chilly there was an electric radiator in the living room. During our stay we visited a few places: We visited the Hafren Forset which was beautiful and a really nice walk with access to the streams and amazing views- our pup loved it! We also went to the Elan Valley Dams- not really our thing but the views were pretty amazing. A very long walk though so I would say drive between dams if you’re not much of a hiker! On our last full day we visited Gilfach Nature Reserve which again had amazing views, fields for our pup to run off in (no cattle were grazing when we visited). We saw the waterfall and walked in the stream with our pup. Food: We cooked a cottage pie on our first night which we were so glad the kitchen was well equipped with all the dishes/utensils we needed. We had a takeaway from Evan’s Plaice which was really nice! We also had a takeaway Indian from “Spice hut” but that wasn’t very good at all unfortunately. There was a table/bench in the garden which was lovely to have our meals on but not great to sit round the fire so I would advise to take a camping chair if that’s something you wanted to do. All in all we had a lovely stay!
