"Helpful staff and great restaurant "

"Hotel doesnt look good on outside (ripped signage) but it great on inside. We stayed on 3rd floor with great views of lake. Room super clean and looked new. Bathroom very clean and new. Food was good. Breakfast was buffet style. Staff spoke english and were very friendly."

"Fosshotel Mývatn is a gem in North Iceland! This was my second time staying here, and once again, it exceeded expectations. The rooms are modern, cozy, and offer incredible views of Lake Mývatn. The staff was warm and helpful, and the on-site restaurant served some of the best meals I had on the trip. It's the perfect base for exploring the surrounding natural wonders, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area!"

"This cabin is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Host/Team is very responsive in helping us with the check-in etc. Very functional home - easy to cook and wash up in the kitchen the Icelandic chocolate snack is a thoughtful touch. Coffee, tea, salt, pepper, olive oil are provided in the kitchen. Bathroom & bedroom is clean. It was quiet and secluded for us during our stay there as nobody was using the campsite at that point of time. Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay there - it has good space for 2 and kitchen prep space is bigger than other cabins we’ve stayed. Very functional and clean thank you!"
