"Stayed in small camping pod and loved it. Loved the atmosphere there. Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "

"This hotel is very pretty and updated but the parking is pretty bad. There are only a few parking spaces in the front and they don’t tell you if you can park on the side or in the back and there aren’t really any signs. The bed came apart when you laid on it. The TV was a smart TV so you could stream shows which was nice. The staff was not very friendly and the spa is not open 24 hours but they also don’t tell you the hours that it is open? Our tea and coffee tray had open tea bags with no tea...

"This hotel is pretty new and it’s really beautiful and inviting. The lobby area is gorgeous and the breakfast room was really nice. The rooms are large, stylish, and have wonderful views to the countryside. This is a great location for Aurora viewing! We had to drive a little ways to get dinner but liked having an outing to explore. The staff are very helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. We had some trouble with our door sticking but eventually figured it out. Highly recommend...

"This has to be one of the most unique stays in Iceland. If you’re considering booking it, you absolutely should.
