"We had a wonderful two week family holiday at this lovely property. The owners made it very special, really kind and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Rosa bringing homemade bread and jam twice during our stay and also baking a delicious cake. The pool is wonderful and we had lots of fun in the games room playing pool and foosball. "This is a modern property. We had a room with a panoramic view onto the lake. Breakfast buffet was good but disappointing selection of Portuguese cheeses. The hotel has recently added a restaurant - excellent. Very little English spoken. "

"What an amazing hotel ! It's split into two halves, with the dining (and much more - chapel, art gallery, lovely rooms, including a games room!) in a separate building across the courtyard. If it's raining, there is a tunnel connecting the two! The breakfast was very good - the evening meal (we had half-board) was reasonably good, not outstanding.
