Rainy overcast the days we stayed but we hiked several falls in the area had a fire pit the first night by the waterfall it was very relaxing. A nice place to stay great communication
This has been our 2nd stay at the cabin and we absolutely love our time there! The place is always clean and so peaceful. We love it and cant wait to go back!!
David’s property is exactly as advertised. Remote, relaxing and fantastic! Check in process was easy, we were able to check in a little early. The property was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend away. We hiked to the lake. Such a great trip! Will be back next year.
My husband and I had the perfect getaway weekend celebrating our 20th anniversary! Everything was perfect! Absolutely gorgeous cabin and property!! We hope to be back soon!
I've stayed at David's properties for a few years now and he is always an excellent host. There if you need him, but is very respectful of privacy. This was my first stay at Swiftwater Acres and there are no words to describe the beauty, bliss, and peacefulness of this property and the surrounding area. By far, the hardest vacation I ever had to say goodbye to. Thank you again David and Chris for sharing your paradise
The communication and directions were perfect. Everything we needed to fully enjoy the property was available. The cabin is cozy and spotless. We spent most of our time on the property and will be returning in the future! I feel like every season would be a unique experience here.. Thank you so much!
We stayed 2 nights in the cabin and pictures don’t do it justice. Cute little cabin in a breathtaking location. We will book again next time we are in the area.
This secluded cabin is amazing and David is great with communications leading up to and throughout your stay! Bring a fishing rod and reel and a walking stick so you can explore the breathtaking 45 acres this adventure has to offer!
We will definitely be back!
The property itself was gorgeous with many acres to explore and a beautiful stream to follow. The sound of it at night was wonderful. David was extremely responsive and even gave us hiking and exploring tips. The cabin had all the creature comforts you could want and more--music, games, plenty of towels, dishes etc. Highly recommend this property.
Swiftwater Acres offers the peaceful solitude we so needed! We immediately felt it as soon as we pulled into the long driveway surrounded by lush forest! The waterfalls on the property (literally right off the deck) brought a sense of relaxation and tranquility (it’s actually scientifically proven of waterfalls). We enjoyed the fire-pit and stars at night, hammocks on the deck, and coffee in the mornings all surrounded by the most glorious sounds and sights of nature! Easy to find, WiFi was strong, We appreciated that everything that is offered in the listing was in fact there and usable. We accessed the trail and hiked to Stairway Lake which was beautiful and we also visited Raymondskill Falls which was magnificent! Lots of
Great places to eat in nearby Milford. Apple Valley was great for dinner and also has shops and mini golf. David was an Outstanding host! Could not ask for better! Will definitely return!
This is a lovely spot -- the cabin is surrounded by woods and overlooks a creek with waterfalls -- all you hear is the water and the birds. Nicely furnished, with no clutter and a comfortable bed. The kitchen has what you need and there is a music system with radio, record player, CD player and cassette player. Just a mile down the road is a lovely hiking trail to Stairway Lake; you can also take walks on the property. More hiking trails in the Delaware Water Gap area if you're able to tear yourself away from the cabin porch. This is one of the nicest places I've stayed since I started renting vacation cabins and cottages 8 years ago.
From the time I pressed “Reserve”, I knew it was going to be a great stay! Any questions that I had, I asked and David responded quickly and in a personable manner. On the day my husband and I were to travel there, David personally called me to make sure I wasn’t going to be running into a problem due to a down tree in the area of the cabin. We got there and it was such a CLEAN, peaceful, cozy, little place for us to just relax. Everything we needed was there for us! I recommend this cabin if you want to get away from it all! Thank you, David!
There aren't enough adjectives to describe how wonderful our experience was spending a romantic weekend at David's Waterfall Cabin. From the secluded and picturesque location, to the sparkling clean, rustic, cozy, and beautifully decorated cabin...It was the kind of place that I wish I could go to whenever I wanted to unplug and relax. Sitting by the fire, listening to the waterfalls, and going for walks was exactly what we were looking for to shut out the noise of everyday life and get back to the basics.
David was available for any questions we might have, but he also gave us space to be alone and enjoy our time at the cabin. Hopefully, we can make the Watefall Cabin an annual get-away!
Absolutely amazing place to recharge yourself and take in nature at it's best. I can't say enough nice things about the property and the cabin. And David was a super host providing every detail to make our stay as easy as possible. We will definitely need to get back and do it again.
We've stayed in many cabins and this one was by far the best experience ever. The host provided everything that was needed in quantity and quality. If you like privacy this is for you and the waterfalls on the property are fantastic, we can't wait to go back again. Thank you David!!!
