"It is a nice, inexpensive motel. The lobby did smell very strongly of cigarettes even though it is a non smoking establishment. We got two key cards but only one worked unfortunately and we didn’t find out until the middle of the night when my boyfriend arrived and I was already asleep. The room was clean if a little out dated. The plug situation was a little lacking, so bring a power strip with a surge protector if you think you will need to plug in more than two things or want something...

"Kim is wonderful and helpful! This is a no frills motel. If you want a cheap clean room, a basic place to sleep (bring your own pillow if you are picky about pillows), shower (water gets HOT, pressure is fairly good; bring your own towels if you use/want big towels and/or plush/soft/new ones), and do not need any amenities (no chair for desk in room with two beds, no hair dryer, no hangers) this is the place to stay. Can't beat the price. Stayed two nights last week and am typing this in my room...

"We were a large group from out of town for our son’s wedding. Easier to have us all together than spread out in a hotel. Plenty of towels, coffee maker worked and the fridge also. It’s close to town, easy to navigate area. Nice that we weren’t right on top of other people. Plenty of parking also. "

"We loved the deck over-looking Lake Freeman. Recently renovated with ample space and extra bathrooms. Sparsely furnished but functional. "

"We 5 72 year old ladies had a great time. We went wine tasting, played cards, games and just talked and laughed. The house was very nice. The water had a horrible smell. There was a water cooler but the jug was empty. The lights were on the ceiling far away from the floor. Hard to read anything. The lamps in the bedrooms didn’t work. But nothing stopped us from having a great time. "
