"Beautiful sunset views from almost every room. Great bathrooms, good mattresses, pillows and bedding. However, the house needs a little TLC/updating. We still had a great stay and it was ideal for 4 mature ladies to get away for a long weekend of R&R"

"We were allowed to enter anytime because nobody was checking out which was nice. we found a cream tea waiting with a bottle of prosecco and some milk which was a nice touch. The house was very clean and bright. The garden was immaculate as well and very nice to sit in. Only downside was there was a Bengal cat that kept appearing and when the folding doors were open it kept trying to come in. Also when we put the rubbish out we found it had left a dead Rabbit by the bin. I know it's the country...

"We had a lovely stay at Oms place. The house is a great size, actually a lot bigger than we expected. Bedrooms spacious and the living area was ideal for 2 families. The house was lovely and clean and welcoming. Facilities on site are good, only missing a shop, nearest shop is a short drive away. Kids enjoyed the pool and the park, outside pool was not yet open but can imagine in summer would be a real winner. Thanks, would not hesitate to book again!"

"This location, property and careful attention to key amenities made for a fabulous weekend exploring Cornwall. We made trips to Bodmin Jail, Tintagel Castle and Land’s End from here. Wadebridge is 10 mins away, but this spot is beautifully secluded and very well appointed. The farm animals on the property will be an attraction on their own to some families. 3 different size units available, all sharing a beautiful courtyard. The hosts are wonderful as well!!"

"An amazing Christmas break with family from the moment we walked in.Check in process with David was fantastic showing us the facilities,We were greeted with welcome goodies for an afternoon tea The house is big and immaculate, the bathrooms are stunning and the photos do not do it justice . "Beautifully decorated, cosy and comfortable and only a mile to lovely Holywell Bay which is one of the best dog friendly beaches in Cornwall in our opinion. Shop, bakery/deli and fish and chip shop close by. Loads of great coastal walks nearby and so many lovely beaches, pubs and places of interest to visit. Particularly like all the old mine engine houses dotted around and the local history about mining, fishing. Will definitely be returning. "

"A beautiful 400 year old cottage set in beautiful woodland surroundings. Everything you would think you’d need was supplied, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi in every room. Clean and comfortable throughout, shops close by. Would recommend this cottage and the host Steph did everything she possibly could to make our stay the best. The host Michael had sent me a very informative email before our stay and then sent a check-in email during our stay. The park itself is quiet and the lodges aren't on top of each other. The location is so ideal to get anywhere in Cornwall. We will define book lodge 22."

Comfortable stay

"Excellent location. Easy to find. Got plenty of car parking spaces. The room is very spacious. Great shower. Room is clean and well equipped. Good to have a bottle of water in the room. Kate at the reception is kind, friendly and helpful. Fabulous breakfast. The hotel is quiet and has beautiful mountain view. However, the bed seems to be a bit too soft. "

Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa - Adults Only

"We booked a last minute stay at the Fistral Beach in a sea view double and what a view it was over Fistral Beach. The room was clean and a good size so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other. The bathroom was clean with a range of products to use if you don’t want to take your own. My only grip was that it was a shower over a bath but that is a personal preference and the shower was powerful. We ate, twice in the Bay Bar, the staff were friendly, engaging and went above and beyond to make sure you had a good experience. The real highlight was breakfast each morning, where Sarah and Neil welcome you and make the start to your day a fabulous one - they make you feel like you’ve known them forever. The car park is small but we didn’t struggle to get a space, however that might be different in peak season. The same for the on road parking, there was plenty of spaces but I’m sure they’ll be limited during the summer months. We didn’t have any treatments but we did use the pool and jacuzzi, which were clean and a nice amenity to have on site. We were able to walk from the hotel in to Newquay town centre along the SW coastal path and through the golf club, which took approximately 20mins to Sainsbury’s. "
